Well he started that program from scratch and took South Alabama to a couple of bowl games. His time here had run it's course though, the program needs some new blood.

There is a general opinion in the fan base to avoid SEC retreads- at least ones that were recently fired. You may see a chizik or something thrown around but I doubt we'll go after any of the recent firings.
