Does he realize LSU has a well regarded Engineering Department? Not to mention the incredible building they just finished. You should go walk him through the facility before he pulls the pin on TAM.

LSU doesn't compare to TAMU or UF

If it was me, I would chose A&M over LSU just to get away from home. Maybe the kid wants to get away from home and spread his wings.
