Analyst Says Judge Roy Moore Signature Inside Gloria Allred Accuser’s Yearbook Was FORGED

7s are different.
quote:
“”12-22-77” and “Olde Hickory House” were written by a different person,” he added.
quote:
Next, Wictor points out “the “R” and “y” in “Roy,”” are not written the same way.
quote:
“”Old Hickory House” in Gadsden was never called “Olde Hickory House.” The person who forged the signature got the name wrong,”
quote:
The “forged,” signature also ends with “D.A.” There’s one problem… Moore was a Deputy District Attorney (DDA) at this time.
quote:
“During his legal career, Judge Moore became the first full-time Deputy District Attorney in Etowah County, Alabama, and served in this position from 1977 until 1982. In 1984, Judge Moore undertook private practice of law in Gadsden, Alabama,” states Moore’s bio on his campaign website. “The accuser to this day calls him the District Attorney. He was NEVER District attorney. He was DEPUTY DA. DDA,”

I believe the Moore accusers, but I am not sold on the yearbook at all.
As was already pointed out, yearbooks are distributed in the final weeks of the school year, yet this was signed in december of 1977? What the hell? Who has a yearbook in december?

So you believe somebody that is presenting evidence that is a lie?
Makes sense.

it's not a lie. that's his writing and sig in the yearbook
my opinion as a dem - the reporter did indeed stumble on this story. timing is suspect for sure but imo the current speaking out about sex abuse contributed to these women coming forward. there is zero credible evidence they had an agenda or were paid
that said, i think the gop got rope-a-dope'd with this latest witness. wait a week for moore to make a statement (deny) and see how the leaders align, then drop this story complete with the yearbook
4d chess

No. It's not. In fact, there is 3 different hand writings there.

It already stated he doesn't even know who that is nor the restaurant.

That's coming!

It shouldn't be hard to verify when that yearbook was issued that year.

First, I honestly have serious doubts about this piece of evidence but if it were forensically examined it would probably be fairly easy to determine if it was written last week or many years ago.
The two issues I have with the analysis here are:
1. The signature exemplar used for comparison in the pictures is at least 20 years after the purported 1977 signature. That is a serious problem from an evidentiary point of view.
2. The Olde Hickory House and date potentially makes sense to have been added by the receiver to commemorate the date and place. Which also accounts for the duplicate date that is troubling for some. This reminds me of adding the date and place to the back of photographs which was still common in the late 70's.
As to the DDA vs DA issue I have known members of the DA's office to refer to their job as a DA in informal settings with non-lawyers as opposed to an ADA or DDA. This would be rather unusual for them to sign anything and only use DA though, even informally UNLESS it was meant simply to appear more powerful than they were. I have never known an ADA or DA to actually use ADA or DA in their signature. Most just sign their name as on documents it is printed below, I also only know (edit: very) few attorneys that ever sign ESQ or Esquire.
In the end from an evidentiary point of view one would want to exclude the chance it was written recently if it proves to be decades old then I am inclined to accept it on its face, though it is far from anything damning. Even if it was signed by him in 1977 it could have been a 14yo just asking for an autograph and she could even have had a crush on him particularly if she knew some of the older girls that dated him.
While I am not a Moore fan (and not an AL resident) I hate October/November surprises, it puts both the candidate and electorate in an untenable position.

Who has a yearbook in december?
And why are they bringing it to a local restaurant and having random people sign it? Aren't yearbook signatures usually reserved for other students?

Where is everyone to refute the analyst?

who's the analyst? no link in the op
why doesn't the analyst question any handwriting previous to the signature?

my opinion as a dem
Is invalid, the election eve smear is a well documented Democrat tactic that has even been ridiculed by your demi-god Maher.
This is simply another attempt to cry wolf and should be traeted as such for one simple reason PAST HISTORY.

I agree. That is clearly a few different types of handwriting.
It’s funny people would believe that this could be real.

There was no 'stumble' involved - the 'reporter' was out to find dirt, any way he could.
quote:

I agree - the 'errbody was raped' mania had a part in bringing this up, to be sure. A good smear merchant - er 'journalist' - had a great thread to pull on.
quote:

Dunno about being 'paid' other than their 15 minutes of fame and possible cashing in on book deals or interviews if they are successful.
But they certainly had an agenda - did Moore only molest future DEM activists when they were children? And how did he know that a 14-16 yr old would turn out to be a DEM activist??
I think they definitely have an agenda - an agenda promulgated by the prog/DEM/MSM cabal to thwart the will of the people by stealing a Senate Seat.
Roy Moore is a despicable person in my view - but he is far better than the DEM scum who are trying to steal a Senate Seat.
quote:
the gop got rope-a-dope'd
They always do. the GOP at least tries to react in moral ways - we weed out out deplorables. In contrast to the DEMs who circle the wagons around any of their political operatives and at best spit out some sacrificial lamb after the political winds have calmed.
Roy Moore - as despicable as he is - is better than 2/3 of the DEM contingent in Congress.
