This matchup looks good for us on paper. It really does.

But what with #fillNeyland and the spark provided by an interim, things could get hairy.

We need to go ground and pound and stay at it all game. Our defense is fully capable of shutting them out. Their QB roster is worse than ours . Way worse. They dont have a bruiser back like Guice.

Honestly, we could start Culp at RB and rush for 100 on these guys.

But something is in the air here and I dont like it. Regardless, losing to them is not an option for O.

To me, this is the worst possible timing for Butch's firing. Tennessee won't be playing like Tennessee this week, especially in front of their home crowd.

A team with an interim is either dangerous or completely folds. LSU has to avoid mistakes and don’t let them hang around longer than necessary like vs Arkansas.

Maybe not culp... but did you see how many rush yards they gave up to Mizzou?

If we do start Culp at running back, everyone will know the ball is going left.

Really wish they would have waited until after our game to fire him

This is the most promising sign I've seen for LSU all season.

Why not? Look at Florida's performance of late.

Come out fast, get up, and don't look back. Put it away by late 3d qtr so Brennan and our young RB's can get some reps.

Lol. I'm no positiger, but we are facing not only the worst offense in the SEC statistically, but a defense that just gave up over 400 rushing yards to fricking Mizzou. There is no reason to be scared of the Vols in the slightest.

Through 10 games, Tennessee is dead last in the SEC in rushing defense and dead last in total offense. Firing their head coach isn't going to change those facts.

We need to make it close, so that they'll be dumb enough to hire Brady Hoke as permanent HC.

I'm sure he can look and sound like one of them ... and that's really all that matters these days.

Forget that he was a complete failure at Michigan.

No it isn't. Tennessee is a dumpster fire.
