At the deer camp alone

These nights might be my favorite times. I’m off tomorrow so I’m the only one camping tonight in the entire 2,000 acre lease. Sitting by the camp fire eating sausage I just cooked over it. No dogs to walk. No kids needing attention. Just absolute quiet in the woods.
I could go without killing a deer just for this experience.

Yeah I was thinking about that. If biggun does come out tomorrow I’m gonna be in for a hard time. Luckily our cleaning setup is pretty good and one man should be able to do it no problem.

Nah. Tues-wed best time to trespass. Things have settled down more from weekend, and usually nobody comes up til Thursday

There is nothing more peaceful and relaxing than sitting at the camp alone next to the fire watching the stars. My buddy always asks me why I enjoy going to the camp by myself. Some people just don't get it.
