So who’s really better? Brennan or Narcisse?

Continued from last night...

Looking back at recruiting profiles, Narcisse was more highly recruited than Brennan.

Brennan (#1 ranked QB in MS) didn't even garner an offer from Mississippi St. Nor did Arkansas, Auburn, or Alabama. Vandy, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and LSU were his only SEC offers. He legit only had 1 top tier program offer him in the SEC.

Narcisse (#2 ranked QB in LA) received offers from LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Clemson.

I know recruiting offers don't necessarily mean anything, but you're telling me not even Dan Mullen (who only has 3 scholarship qb's) didn't even extend an offer to brennan? that seems odd for the #1 qb in your own state.

After the random Tua offer, it makes me think that O and staff didn’t have confidence in Brennan and are holding out Lowell for next year because of his knee and to get a lot of reps in. Idk, just my .02

Brennan had everything but the physical development that coaches like to see. Look at how Jimbo Fisher is doing with an underweight Blackman at QB to see why Brennan wasn't heavily offered.

We all know about high profile QB recruits. Just look how Harris worked out.
But to answer your question, they are 2 different QB's. Hard to compare since LN hasn't seen the field.
I hope one of them takes control of the offense this off season. If LN can throw the ball like Brennan, then he will be the starter, no doubts. But if he has issues hitting the back out of the backfield in Canada's offense, he will play, but doubt if he will start.

Kinda hard to judge until they are running the O against a quality defense. However, just off of arm talent and going through drills. Narcisse jmo

Just my opinion, but I honestly see Narcisse being the better QB. I’m judging in size and the fact that he is a mobile QB. We all saw how hard of a time bama had with a big, mobile QB. I would like to see what both can do, but if we judge on the amount of weapons it would be Narcisse

Based on what I've seen from the two, Narcisse is better, even with his accuracy concerns. His upside is higher as well.

I think playing against the competition that Brennan played against in Mississippi hurt him. I think that's why some teams didn't offer him. His biggest test was Bro Martin at Tad Gormley and they only scored 7 points.

Brennan is by far the better QB. Narcisse is the next "dual threat" which means he can't pass. Not to mention that Narcisse is coming off serious injuries to both knees.

I'd say if both were developed to their potential Brennan may have a slightly higher ceiling but Narcisse should have a fairly higher floor. Not sure we currently have the WR's to make Brennan look like Met just yet but they look promising.

Depends on who you like better. Fanboys on both sides

Imagine both will see playing time next year

Brennan had more offers but they are two different styles of QB so got offers from different schools with the exception of LSU, Memphis, and Southern Miss. Here are all the offers they had according to 24/7

Brennan - LSU, Arkansas State, California, Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana-Lafayette, Memphis, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Texas-San Antonio, Troy, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Wisconsin

Narcisse - LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Arizona State, Clemson, Grambling State, Illinois, McNeese State, Memphis, Nicholls State, North Carolina, Southern Miss, Tulane, Virginia

Those were some of Narcise's Premiere offers, some of Brennan's were LSU, Cal, Okie State, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.

I do suspect Narcisse is ultimately the better fit for what Canada appears to be doing right now, but Canada is also known to tailor his offenses to fit the talent he has.

Here's my question on LN....with him being a Dual Threat qb but having 2 major knee surgeries, will the coaches actually treat him like a dual threat and let him run like Hurts or not bc of fear for more injury?

We will not know until next year. When one of the players beats out the other.

If O goes Brennon or bust, does the staff keep Narcisse ready purely as a backup? Or can he be taught the WR position?

The honest answer and fair answer is we don't have any idea. Now maybe the coaches know but no one on here does.

Do a little research on the Elite 11 competition last year. I think that’ll give you a better idea of each kid coming in.
