Smith jr numbers about same as tatum, but on dallas.
Tatum is just the 3rd or 4th guy on good team.

Rookie all star starters if you picked today.
Ben Simmons
Markkanen
Tatum
Smith
Kuzma

Ben Simmons

Simmons is the man, I've maintained he's this generation's Magic Johnson since he came to LSU and he hasn't disappointed: 6'9-6'10 guy who can run the floor, distribute, be efficient, drive to the hole and I hear he's improving as a defender which is encouraging. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes an All-NBA team this season, would be well-justified.

Not this year. Top 15 players in the NBA? He'd have to go crazy.

What does that have to do with Lonzo winning RotY?

Nothing, I was answering the question

What technicality?

which was posed in response to the statement

I love that he won’t win rookie of the year bc of a technicality. Gonna piss off his dad.

That's not the only reason why he won't win ROY

Unless he steps his game up a lot, he won't finish in the top 3. Though I don't expect him to, there is plenty of season left for him to rectify that.

I don't necessarily think it's a reach to suggest/argue he'll reach that status by season's end barring a season-derailing injury, his stats and how that Sixers team has improved certainly indicate that at this point

Do you really want your PG to be a role player?

Obvioulsy not. Thats why they will never be able to cope with Magics frick up

also had a standing bet with anyone on the MSB that the Clippers would win I believe 54 games this season.

Boom has Lonzo pegged as an All-NBA player. He might still have a chance, because that's high praise from ol' Boom.

Film don't lie.

Should have taken his game against Kentucky in the NCAA tournament seriously.

Lonzo needed more years in college, he's going to have a much tougher time improving his handle in the NBA.

This is the problem with leaving college before you're ready. It lowers your ceiling as a player

Ball's actually had a higher average game score in his 1st 11 games than Russel, so it's not like Russell was lighting it up either.
You do bring up a good point as Russell has shown steady improvement, inceasing his PER by 5.2 and his Box Plus Minus by 2.8 from his first year, and that's likely an even greater improvement compared to the first 11 games.

That being said, game score is largely dependent on minutes because it doesn't control for rates like most stats. And in this case Lonzo averages (33.5) 8.7 or 35% more minutes per game than Russell's first 11 games (24.8). So translating it to per 36, Russell would have had a game score of 9.6 while Lonzo would have a game score of 8.0.

But the general point remains that Russell struggled too but has improved so Lonzo obviously shouldn't be dismissed so easily; however, he'll need a huge improvement though.

Good crowd in Milwaukee tonight for Lakers / Bucks - didn't see one Lakers fan outside the arena when walking SirWinston. Awesome to see Lakers bandwagon days over and hope LeCuck doesn't go bail them out next year.

Bump again

What a fraud SDVTiger is.

He's posting on the MSB every day, he's certainly seen all of my bumps.

At what position though? PG? This is a stretch, although he has played really well.
