I can see it as being a bit of a turning point.

The game just looked and felt different, regardless of the point deficit. It felt like the chance to win was within reach and for once, their defense, looked fallible. Years past, it never felt like that.

Be glad it was Saban on the sideline and not TOBC.He would have scored that last possession if he had to call time out to do it.
That would have been 21 points.

The Program Direction Changed on 11/4/17

It’s the day the we operated under a game plan to keep the game close instead of winning.
It’s the day that Coach O said “we’re coming” after his team played better than any team will against Bama this year and still lost by double digits.
It’s the day we played it safe and wanted to make the loss look respectable instead of trying to shock the world.

O has next season, if this “we played hard” moral victory shite is still tolerated, I’m done with him.

You realize that there is a very good chance we will be underdogs against Miami right? I'm not saying we can't win but I wouldn't be expecting a beat down. Miami could very well be a top ten or maybe even top 5 team at the beginning of next year.

Absolutely that is why I said. If they run the table and win the bowl game then beat Miami to open the season. Only then can we discuss if the program changed direction after last night. until then I don't want to hear it. Last night was just another loss. I am proud of the effort but we don't live in a effort based world. We live in a results world.

It is the day a "L" was posted next to this game on the schedule results
It is the day we remembered that we can get elite players at ever position but Q

Exactly.

Yes, it is.

Football is a bottom line business. Bottom line is LSU lost by 14 and has scored exactly TWO touchdowns in the three years against Bama.

The game yesterday looked different, which got everyone excited, but the outcome was just the same as the past few years.

The program changing direction means having a real chance to win the West and the SEC.

Bama is the measuring stick, and LSU still just doesn't measure up.

Yes the spin will be that we held our own against them but let’s be real, Bama just held us at arm’s length knowing they only needed to put up 15-20 to win the game.

Right. Bama's only wanted to score 24.

Their D still was pretty damn great considering massive amount of injuries between their D line and LB's

We still only scored 10.

I think the fools gold is how shitty this conference is. Besides Auburn, do we have a decent win?

We barely beat a Florida team by a missed extra point and an Ole Miss team on fire about to be sanctioned

These people are so clearly not LSU fans.

It is so pathetic how many of these alters/idiots crawled out of the swamp to shill for their baw when he won the lotto.

They don’t give a shite about LSU and will turn on the university and curse us every chance they get if the day ever comes that the Rosy Finch Boyz aren’t in charge anymore.

Question is will we still see these people if we somehow drop the ball vs Arkansas or Tennessee?

One good thing that LSU accomplished this season is they contributed to giving Jim McYellateeth "what he deserved" and he is not coaching at the present time. I think this team came together that day and there has been constant improvement ever since the Florida game. Lets cheer this team on til the end of this season and hopefully the voids will get filled by next year
