Reporting from T-town and what I saw

I'm disappointed like everyone else at the potential plays that should have been made in the passing game that would have been huge for momentum. However, a few positives..
1. We ran the ball very well, as well as I've seen us run on Bama in a long time. With our OL, I did not see this coming.
2. LSU fans traveled well and did us proud. They were loud enough to draw boos several times.
3. Bama did not look invincible. We could have beaten this team had the ball been caught here and there and not intercepted. The defense, as usual, gave us a chance.
4. For the most part, I thought the refs were tolerable. There were plenty of missed holding calls, but there were times I thought they could have thrown them but kept them in their pockets to the dismay of the spoiled Bama bunch that is used to getting all the calls.
5. I was treated well and several fans told me that game was a lot closer than they thought and LSU at times gave them a scare.

That may be a token response, but no less sincere.

I've been to Ttown and had great experiences. Sure, they have their inbred idiots but it's always a fun trip and they do have some good fans. BDS is a nice venue.
LSU fought hard and played fairly well. The coaches had a good plan. The loss stings but it's hard to be too upset about it.

I hope you get your guts torn out on a grand stage again like last year.

The only time I remember hearing boos were when LSU fans were doing chants while players were injured.

Athens is a far better road trip experience than Tuscaloosa

Eh I disagree with part 2. I was at the game and that was almost no LSU fans at the game

There is a reason why Bama is ranked lower than Georgia. Our Tigers exposed a lot of their weaknesses. This Bama team hasn’t proved anything on the big stage. If they run the table (doubtful) and win the SEC then they will have earned my respect. IMO this is the weakest Bama team since the 9-6 game.

I was there as well my Few comments:
1. Bama fans thoughts before game, 45-7 Bama~. Post game- numerous fans talked to me how we were better than they thought and they have things to worry about.
2. We missed on the deep balls and it hurt our chances.
3. We are headed in the right direction offensively.
4. Offensive line... Wow, best they've been against Bama in years.

I was there too. Up in SS, there were many missing seats in the LSU section as well as a ton of Gumps all over it.

Really liked how the refs let hem play. Yea they missed a holding call or two agains bama, but we also got away with a PI or 2

When you hear comments like “ y’all scared us” and “we need to watch out next year” from Bama fans, does that actually make you feel better? LOL
We haven’t beaten them in 6 years. They don’t look at us as a legitimate threat anymore. They were being patronizing. They don’t respect LSU, and won’t as long as Yaw Yaw is the head coach.

nah, tuscaloosa is great. What fans should do is show up thursday and take a day either then or sunday to check out the hills just north of campus. There is some nice hiking and cool lakes to jump into and swim. It's a nice place

THIS
Our OL has made astronomical progress. Pass protection still ain't there. We missed out not trying to establish more of a run game. DWilliams didn't get the touches he should have.
