I wish more liberals would adopt the Bill Maher pragmatism in regard to Islam. Vast majority of Muslims are not terrorists, but Islam has some serious fricking problems as it is practiced in much of the world. Archaic views on women, sex, morality etc manifests itself in unacceptable ways far to much.
Worse, you cant even acknowledge empirical data from polling which clearly highlights these issues without being called racist. (See bitch arse Ben Aflleck vs Bill Maher.

Many of my friends are of the Islamic faith. Perhaps if you got to know them, you wouldn’t be so full of ignorance and hate. Condemning a group of people for their faith is just stupid.

Could be that the "rest of the story" involves estimates of how many of the others lend tacit approval to what those 100+mil doctrinaire, fundamentalist Islamics are willing to do, and would turn in their direction if by some remote chance they would ever take over.
We'll get a better read on the true percentages by watching Western Europe through the coming years - that is, if they do nothing and let it happen.
