Plus they just ripped that off from X-Men First Class.
I was waiting for 8 to tell 11 "the point between rage and serenity"

Why should students with a passion for acting study at LSU?
Students should study at LSU because there are lessons for success in front of you DAILY. LSU vs. Auburn 2017! Great game, better teaching moment! I told my son, "No battle plan survives first contact!" In life, on the stage, and in Tiger Stadium you have to make adjustments. Fight to the finish! I loved LSU from my first day in the late 80s. Magical.

How long has Chrest taught at LSU?

Just finished it up. S2 was good but S1 was much better. But that was gonna be hard to top. Steve and Hopper are great characters. Also the kid that played Will is a damn good actor for a little kid. Hell I'll binge it all again before S3 comes out. Gonna be interesting what they do going forward.
I think the biggest difference from S1 to S2 was simply a loss of innocence. In S1 at the beginning there was a carefree innocence amongst the characters even with Will missing. S2 had a sense of loss and dread from the get-go. Or, at least for me.

I thought that S1 came off a bit too stiff and serious. S2 was a lot more relaxed imo.

Why didn't those two end up together at the end of season 1? Remind me.
I think hes just fricked up and doesnt want to do the whole family thing cause hes so jaded. Also he had to keep Eleven hidden.

I rewatched 1 after seeing 2 and I think what's missing is there was an element of mystery in 1 that just can't be replicated again. It was about half way into the season before they even saw the Demigorgon for the first time. Honestly the biggest mystery in S2 was the backstory of Billy and Max and they either saved that for S3 or they built it up for nothing.

I think it's more on her
She went through a major traumatic event. She likely craved normalcy and wanted to get the family back to regular lives. Enter Bob who is the perfect safe guy to try and pick up the pieces with and move past the event.
Plus Hopper only loves one thing in this world. His sheriff hat.

I'd say he's fond of cigarettes too.

You think he would tear up his beautiful hat to use as a marker in the tunnels? Hell nah he'd die before giving up that hat

Season 3 to introduce new character. Will has a fraternal twin sister.

But eventually, years later, Ryder got her revenge on one of the girls who tortured her growing up when the actress ran into her at a coffee shop and totally shut her down. “Years later, I went to a coffee shop and I ran into one of the girls who’d kicked me, and she said, ‘Winona, Winona, can I have your autograph?’” Ryder said in the biography. “And I said, ‘Do you remember me? Remember in seventh grade you beat up that kid?’ And she said, ‘Kind of.’ And I said, ‘That was me. Go f— yourself.’”
Awesome

I have a wild imagination, like on a bizarre level. In no world, universe or realm can I picture Winona Ryder saying this to someone but I find this to be fricking epic

I would imagine she quite enjoyed that moment. I can see her now....walking away with a smile on her face.
I was bullied at that age as well. Middle school girls are ruthless, evil little bitches. I would imagine Winona had fantasized about something like that happening(her revenge moment) when she first started acting.

Episode 7 is heavily foreshadowing part of next season IMO. You know Eleven isn’t finished with Papa, especially after the end of episode 9

Just finished season 2 last night. I think I might have enjoyed it even more than the first season.
Even though they were apart for much of the season it seemed like by episode 8 every character had grown closer together than I could've imagined. I wish that more of it would have been based in Hawkons and not all over the place but I understand the need for the show to grow.
My only complaints were the story arc with the other experimental kids and Billy not getting killed. They tried to humanize him at the end but it didn't work.
Am I the only one who came out of the that having Steve as my favorite character? Or is that just me?

How can you say that? Winona has exceptional expressive range.

Nah Steve is pretty much a cult hero now. I went from being disappointed that Nancy was still with him at the beginning to disappointed that they weren't together at the end.
