Bill Walsh and Bobby Petrino’s love child wouldn’t be enough at OC for us to beat Bama this year.

Some people in this fanbase are about to set themselves up for disappointment.

Maybe...

But I'm not sure jet sweeps and pre-snap motion is going to fool Bama.

The only teams to beat Alabama recently had QBS that were able to run and throw. Manziel, Chad Kelly, DeSean Watson, the OU kid. Regretfully those are not strengths of our QB or our offense.

Well, technically Miles was fired for failing to beat Bama. It's not a requirement for O.

But don't say that too loud, the O lovers will have their feelings hurt.

Yup....unless Canada has a whole list of plays we've never seen before, I'm afraid its going to be similar to past results....and we will spend an inordinate amount of time/energy running into a brick wall.

I sometimes wonder how some of you people make it through your everyday lives.

Negative, Orgeron was hired to win championships so it's up to him to beat Bama

I had some hope of a possible upset. Now, with this totally logically explaination, all hope is gone.

I will agree that Canada was hired specifically to see if more creativity and less stubbornness would lead to better offensive output, particularly against Alabama.

Unless he can magically make some stud O-Line and D-linemen appear for LSU, I'm thinking no matter how he calls the game, we are going to have a rough night.

No you should have hired Herman for this reason:LINK
"Im looking at this 3-of-17 on third down and obviously the turnover there at the end. We've got to fix what's wrong on offense"

Mettenberger had them beat were it not for a defensive collapse. It is possible for a pocket passer to beat Bama. That being said, I don’t think it happens this year due to our Oline and Dline play.

if we only had a one of those that didn't run as soon as his first option is covered.
