More clearly, at what point could one say that this season is better than last season?

I think winning out would clearly make this a better season, but I highly doubt that will happen.
I think 9-3 would also make this a better season unless we lose the bowl game. I think that could happen. Also probable, 8-4 at which point I would say this season is worse because of we lost to.

Thoughts?

Let's beat Ole Miss first, then we have a true chance to have a great year considering two pathetic losses early

How many of last years players are playing in the NFL right now? Didn't we fire our coach last year?

I don't understand the point of this question.

10-2 regular season

That’s what it would take plus a bowl win. Winning SECCG would just be icing on the cake.

And that’s the minimum it would take to say a season with a loss to Troy is better than last year.

If all things go as well as can be hoped, we have the same record as we did last year but are paying Les not to coach.

It has already exceeded my expectations. To me, last year we underachieved.

If we beat Bama. Otherwise give me last season. Still two historic losses this year to one great win

ETA: at least last year we got to watch LF7 and Guice push everyone's shite in and that was fun, so far this year it's been much of the opposite watching our o-line getting their shite kicked in

It would need an upset over Bama. Otherwise, losses to Moo U and Troy are a lot worse than road losses to Wiscy and Auburn.

Assuming we lose to Bama and even if we lose another game and finish 8-4 then this season would be better than last year due to the fact we beat Auburn and Florida.

If we finish 9-3 this year would be obviously better.

I would say a 9-3 regular season with a bowl win would be a success.

For me personally, I think we could lose every game for the rest of the season except for squeaking out a freak win over bama and I could close the book happy.

It won’t, two very different teams. Only one thing matters at this point and that’s how we rebound after the Alabama game. LSU is thin on both sides of the line and they will certainly be beat up when they come back from that shithole up north.
