Tigers fans want to see some good football but have turned into some what of spoiled kids. Nick and early Les gave us around 10 years of really good football but since Bama rolled LSU at the end of 2011 we all know the story.

Les needed to be fired and I would say at least 95% of Tiger fans would have hit the fire button. Joe put in CEO as Head Coach and I really think that Joe bought into CEO and put him as his #3 guy in the order of things. We know what happened to #1 and #2 and Joe turned to #3 CEO knowing he would get a yes to the job offer.

Now it starts with the 70% of the Tiger fans that wanted a name guy to come take over a Top shelf program or wanted the young gun on the move up. We all wanted a Nick type hire but we got CEO.

The season starts with, show me something you Ole Miss reject from the bayou. The high crust bunch that you see often posting on this forum hate CEO because he is common folk below the standards of a Sunday brunch invite. They are also in-bedded in media material that you see rolled out for LSU and CEO these days. Nothing Coach O talks about being football oriented hits the waves but jogging without a shirt or saying something about chicken on the stick makes ESPN prime time.

That all said, what this bunch needed to break out total hell on CEO was the MSU game. "See I told you" this bum is in totally over his head. This will be the worst season in the history of LSU football. Not only will CEO be fired but Joe will be out with him.

The MSU game was bad enough but no one expected worse to show up but in life I am use to worst. Worst looks like your best friend being the dude that your wife ran off with. For CEO his best friend's name was Troy.

I have to tell you that I thought the worst about the season but I thought after a few days to just hold on until the Gator game. CEO/Aranda/Canada will have to pull it together to beat a bad Gator team at the Swamp. They did - they won with fight but it was ugly.

Auburn week at Baton Rouge and Auburn has not beaten the Tigers in Baton Rouge since - 1999. Auburn is favored by 7 points. Auburn goes up on LSU 20-0.

It's 23-7 and Danny throws a pick late in the first half right to the Auburn DB but he drops it. Danny then followed that with his best throw as a Tiger and we see one of the best catches ever by a Tiger in the back of the end-zone. 23-14 at the half.

Aranda does his 1/2 time magic, Auburn doesn't score in the 2nd half. We get a great punt return TD - 23-21 and then it goes to CEO. It's late in the game and it's 4th down and 1 foot - kick a FG or go for it ???

Do I have faith in my FG kicker ? CEO calls a 2nd time out so not to rush his kicker and sends him out to make it. We all know it's good. 24-23 - LSU !

While CEO is making all the right calls - Guz who has been to the National Championship Game twice calling plays can't do one thing right. When he should have went for it with 4th down and less than 1 he kicked and LSU moved the ball. He ends up with 4th and 10 with all 3 time outs around his own 24 yard-line and goes for it. LSU takes over works the clock and hits our go ahead by 4 FG.

LSU wins

What I am saying long winded is that CEO has started the long road of winning over the fans. He already has his staff and his team now he just has to win baby!

O should never have been #3. #133 would have been a more appropriate ranking.

Ummm no. Expecting wins v Troy and not getting beatdown by Moo
State does not make fans “spoiled”

Are you suggesting it’s asking too much to beat Troy at home?

Is it “spoiled” to expect as fans the AD do a proper search and hire a coach with a consistent record of success?

A “name” guy. No. But a proven loser? It’s hard to go 10-25 and 3-21 in Conf. That takes a special kind of incompetence.

Butch Jones is about to get fired for a much better record. Mark Richt was run out of UGA. This is the SEC, it’s not a training ground.

Do I want us to win every game? You bet your arse. But asking fans to accept that O was the 3rd best alternative for Alleva is ludicrous.

I don’t blame O. Not his fault. Joe was dumb enough to give him the keys.

But you don’t check your brain at the door. This structure is dysfunctional. You can have a HC that at the discretion of the AD cede power over the offense and defense to the Coordinators.

It’s insane. I hope it works and we win every single game but don’t think for a second O has “won” over the staff. They snicker behind his back that he has been neutered by Joe.

O is a likable guy. Almost everyone (not Canada) loves him. The players, fans, coaches do. But you are delusional if you think O is respected by his peers.

Geaux Tigers.

Ed Orgeron will never win as many games or send as many players to the NFL as Les or Nick.

Ok. Won over the team? You in meetings behind closed doors? The team is performing closer to what they should be. I don't know if that equals winning them over. O told the team after last season the goal for this year was the playoffs... so...? This isn't a rebuild. What does he have to do to win the fans? Dominate somebody. Score points. Run a solid offense. There's a whole list of things. Check the binder. It's all in there. He's not close yet.

Uh... yeah. Just win. That's all it takes to make any rational sports fan happy.

*ETA -- I still have serious doubts about CEO as the head coach.
