I've been a reader of the NYT for 40 years, so I have a pretty good feel for it's left-leaning bias.
But in all that time I never really thought the Old Grey Lady would stoop to the partisan depths it has reached in what it now purports to be news.
The fact that you reference such a pristine example of this totally biased nonsense to prop up your own need for political expediency shows your youth and inexperience - much less, stupidity...

Best President of any of our lifetimes. Infinitely better than what we have now.
I don't know if you are serious or not - but I detect no sarcasm, so I will agree with you. He doesn't rate as high as Reagan, but I am proud of his tenure.
He certainly doesn't deserve the mindless hatred heaped on him for this tenure.
But I am disappointed in his statements yesterday - truly disappointed.

The first may be accurate - but the crash of the economy was the handiwork of the DEMOCRAT party. Bush even tried to get them to do something about the coming crisis many times. This balll was started rolling downhill due entirely to the DEMOCRAT party's 'good intentions' to let unqualified people to get loans for houses they could not afford. They were warned and the flatly rejected any attempt to fix the problem. I can still recall Chris Dodd reassuring us that 'the housing market is in good shape" just months before the crash. I will forever defend Bush over the DEMOCRATs for his role in 'causing the market crash' - DEMOCRATs are just what they have been for the past 50 years - lying scum interested in destroying the tapestry of our national life that brought America to the pinnacle of moral leadership in the world. DEMOCRATs cannot survive in an arena of moral, competent, responsible, merit-based, competition. That said, I was extremely disappointed in W's speech yesterday. He was mouthing a one-sided version of what has happened during the past two years, and I resented it.
Certainly agree, CB. But the crash was on the mealy-mouthed Bush's watch...so the buck stops with him. He never publically defended His own Policy and left those of us who did, hanging. The Left virtually ripped Him to shreds and laid the foundation for the Obama disaster.
And to this day, Bush (tacitly) slams Trump...but never says a word about the blatant CRIMINAL CORRUPTION of our Government at the highest levels. You'd think he might want to give Dinesh D'Souza a shout out at least...when He got out of jail. Like Scooter Libby...not even a word.
Screw GW.

It still blows my mind how easily many Americans mistake a polished speech for leadership, even in the face of rampant corruption, endless war, and general apathy to the will of the voter.

You've lost your god damned mind. This country thrives on discord.

Bush kicked open the door to cheap Chinese manufacturing at the expense of American labor and to the benefit of the companies that moved their manufacturing there and made him even richer. Hell yeah he's globalist.

Obama was in no way shape or form a leader of all americans at all.
Lol at the OP passing that cultural marxist SJW off as a "leader".
