Defense put pressure on Stidham, Auburns offense became very predictable.
Most importantly, the guys never gave up like they did vs MSU. Some of the young guys are outgrowing their rookie tendencies and putting pressure on the older guys.

I find it real hard to believe you didnt go back and watch tje highlights. That you didnt try to find out in any way how the game went. That you just sat around waiting to post on TD to get the update. This seems like a lame attempt to down play the win without getting blasted

It was not a particularly dominant performance
If you look at all 4 quarters you're right.
The second half was absolutely a dominating performance.

the second quarter was not so good for Auburn either. Defense stepped up and we started passing the ball a bit more than normal.

I wonder if Matt Flynn and Hydrology, LLC had anything to do with our strong 2nd half performance.

My opinion, those kids dug deep and fought. Coupled with good coaching and we came out with the win

We also turned the SECs most accurate passer into Brandon Harris in the 2nd half.

Defense started playing man to man. That zone BS was Steeles thing and Arranda followed. Man to man is an LSU staple

Aranda drug his sack all over Malzahn’s playbook in the second half
It was fricking glorious

The defense, offense, and special teams began to feed off each other’s success and they became a “team” at least for this moment in time during this particular game .

Auburn's sideline cooked in the sun into the 4th Quarter while LSU's sideline spent the second half in the shade.

This
Man 2 Man combined with more blitzing shut down Stidham.
Moving a safety closer to the box helped slow down the wildcat and the running game.
On offense the OL played better than they have played recently.
The offense did just enough along with excellent special teams play in all areas of special teams.

Donte, Tolliver and Delpit (after the blown TD coverage) played their best games of the season. They were breaking up passes with great anticipation. Stidham had 6 yards passing in 2nd half.
Chark punt return and great adjustments to passes.
Gage amazing catch on a rainbow from Etling and a 70yd end around.
Culp learned how to kick FGs.
Devin being Devin.

Alot of heart and determination #1.
2. Coaches made great adjustments bringing additional safety in the box to stop run game.
On the other side, Auburn continued to throw the deep ball instead of the intermediate passes.

Several other comments are spot on, but I'll try to add another. Gus said in the pregame interview that they needed a fast start. He said that historically that they have had to play from behind.
Then when they got the 20 pt lead, he (and most everyone else) felt that they had the D to destroy our O. Stats would agree with him. They called conservatively to manage their lead and not give the ball away.
BUT, THAT's WHY YOU PLAY THE GAME ON THE FIELD.
ONCE WE GOT THE MO, HE WAS A HO,

I really enjoyed our last 2 defensive series...nice to see blitzing during their 2 minute offense...everyone keeps blaming their play calling in the 2nd half but I don't think
Stidham had anyone open short...their recievers were not getting separation

Didn't read anything but you're title...
Auburn quit running the ball. Credit our secondary for playing lights out though.

UMM none of the above.
AUBURN just ran out of gas. Pretty plain and simple.

Interesting that when you read the play by play breakdown, the two TDs by Aub were the result of 3 big plays: LSU fumble-49 Yd TD pass, 52 yd pass. Although that second Aub TD drive was a nice one, without that big coverage breakdown, on 3rd and 13, no telling how much more they would have gone.
20-0 sure felt like domination at the time, but it really wasn't. Great lesson there for players and fans alike about not giving up.
