There's only one thing I can understand following blindly with no proof whatsoever and it's not LSU football. You can't expect people to just pretend that if the "hope and believe" real hard LSU is going to win. That's just dumb. Up until the last 3 quarters yesterday, there was no reason to think LSU had any business winning that game.

Does it change the fact for many of us that Alleva who has made 4 football hires in his career (Carl Franks 6-45, Ted Roof 7-45, Ed O 6-2 and David Cutcliffe 56-64) has to Geaux?

With O the theory was make him a “CEO”. Let the coaches coach. Just 2 weeks ago after the Troy loss and it was apparent that the coaches, especially on O, were not being allowed to coach. He had to call a meeting to reinforce that O is the HC but the Coordinators were basically in control of their side of the ball.

It’s worked the last 2 weeks I am happy. You are happy. Every one is happy.

But this structure doesn’t seem to be one that can work long term.

You can’t have a system where the HC at the direction of the AD cedes control to the Coordinators.

I hope it works I hope we win out and make the playoffs or the Sugar Bowl.
