So Trey Quinn just got added to the Biletnikoff award watch list and John Diarse is also performing very well. Can someone explain to me why Quinn had 5 catches season and is now a top reciever in the country? It amazes me how little we used such a talented player like him.

Gotta have someone capable of throwing it to them.
Here's a downvote.

We all know the answer. Drops at the most inopportune time.....Bama......and we lose.....

He had some pretty terrible drops and the LSU staff lost faith in him.

If Les would've been fired after the aTm game, they'd have stayed.
Glad to see them doing well.

When Lindsay Scott goes to SMU next year, you'll REALLY see what Quinn can do.

I blame Quinn on this one. He could have honored his commitment, stuck it out and developed more.
After Alabama folded him up like a cheap lawn chair and he kept dropping the ball he was done.

Can someone explain to me why we are having new posters sign up nearly every day to either bash the former staff or blow the current one?

Same reason we had 9 completions in our offensive explosion last week

Yeah Quinn has a few key drops and we lose faith in him, he leaves then becomes one of the nation's best recievers. Jefferson had a few inept years and played as much as possible.... that is why miles had to go he obviously played favoritism

Midfield 4th quarter with 2 min left... 3rd & 3 Jennings finally drops back with a clean pocket and delivers decent pass to Quinn... DROPPED!!!
Bama goes on to kick a FG to force OT and add another "L" to our Bama losing streak.

Why do threads like these keep coming up. Quinn is a really good player. When he was at LSU,
1. He was young, and needed time to develop.
2. This offense was not the correct fit for him. Our staff would have never developed him properly. Sad fact but true.

come on guys leave the kid alone. He dropped two balls in the bama game and then gets in miles dog house. get your facts straight. he didn't drop balls all year long. he could have stuck around and maybe got better for sure, but as someone said smu is a better fit and he's doing good. just be happy for the kid. people on here bash these dang kids so much.
