Maybe I just speak for myself, but I don't give a damn if sea serpents do or do not exist, and I'm pretty sure the governments of the world feel the same way. The worldwide reaction would be "oh look, a new species was discovered," and 5 min later everyone would move on.

Dude, you should really just stop...this is embarrassing.

He'll never answer the armor piercing questions. I like that he posted the guys resume, there's gonna be some fun stuff to pick apart later on.
Especially going from missiles to civil war pterodactyls.

The US Coast Guard absolutely knows about these animals because we reported our first sighting to them 15 minutes after we had it and then we sent them a detailed description of what the animal looked like which included about a dozen drawings because they asked us to send them as much information about the animal as we could.
quote:
Ya I saw in the interview with you and your brother that when you first saw it they sent helicopters that flew around 100 feet above the bay looking for it. I would just think that EVERYONE serving in the Navy or Coast Guard who was stationed in that area would have to know about them if they were popping up on sonar. How do you reconcile that with the fact that nobody will admit it?
I don't know if the animals have ever been seen on sonar and if they have been seen on sonar, why do you think EVERYONE in the Navy or Coast Guard would have to know about them?
What I do know is that besides our sightings, the October 31, 2003 Stinson Beach sighting by at least 9 people with 7 people admitting that they saw the animal was well publicized on TV, radio and in newspapers and when we offered to give the US Coast Guard a copy of our January 26, 2004 video after they previously asked us to send the as much information as we could about the animal we saw, they refused our offer.
The District 9 US Coast Guard must be aware of the Stinson Beach sighting and we know they are aware of our first sighting as well as our January 26, 2004 video.
I challenge you to contact them and ask them if they have ever gotten any reports of a sighting of a sea serpent in SF Bay or know about the October 31, 1983 Stinson Beach sighting and if they are aware of there being a video taken on January 26, 2004 of several sea serpents swimming in SF Bay.
When they say no then that's all the proof you need to know they are covering up that they know about the sightings.

My brother and I have gone out of our way to answer all of the questions people have asked us.
Here's a link to a megathread at The Skeptics Society forum where we spent a huge amount of time answering close-minded bigots' "piercing" questions.

To what ends, though? I just can't conceive of a scenario where powerful people would benefit from covering up the existence of sea serpents.

But why would they cover it up?
It still seems super odd that in an active bay like SF and in the day and age of everyone having smart phones capable of recording HD videos, that there have been very limited sightings of this supposed 60-100 foot long creature.

Paiva is an expert image analyst.
Ok. So he can tell us that the images are un-doctored. He has no credibility in identifying what the subject is. He does not have sufficient expertise to say that the thing wasn't a group of feeding seals, or an oarfish. Not very useful.
quote:
Dr. Bousfield was a retired Research Associate at the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto, and the Royal British Columbia Museum in Victoria, following a long career with the Zoology Division of the National Museum, Ottawa. He researched the reports of sightings of sea serpents for many years and in particular the reports of sightings of Cadborosaurus.
So he worked in a museum, and liked imaginary animals. He was not a peer reviewed marine biologist. He did not have the proper expertise to rule out the thouasands of plausible animals your video could be. He was just a guy with a completely irrelevant degree that was interested in a subject outside of his field.
Your "experts" are not very good.
Again I point to the Patterson Gimlin film. It was looked at by credentialed scientists in the relevant field. Scientists who have published papers. You have a guy that can tell us the image wasn't shopped and a guy who likes pretend animals. Doesn't hold up.

It is obvious the Sea Serpents were brought here by Nordic Aliens. It all connects. The terran Nords were seafaring people with myths about sea serpents because the descend from alien Nords that brough sea serpents to Earth.
None of you are experts. You can't prove I am wrong.

I have seen those videos. John Kirk wrote about it. You have filmed what could be literally anything. Seaweed, seals, birds, inanimate objects. I suppose they could even be sea serpents, but the only thing they are definitive proof of is that you are a lousy camera operator.

How come the aliens could come in many forms, yet they always strongly favor every cartoon drawing of aliens.

Meh, I think the reaction would be similar to how the townspeople in "Jaws" reacted when the attempt by the Mayor to keep people from knowing there was a huge white shark in the water failed.
No one would ever swim in the water again knowing that such an animal could be swimming in the water just a few feet away from them waiting to attack them.

I love how aliens always look like small humans. Can't they come up with something a little more creative?
