Oh, OK. That makes sense. If I had seen an unknown sea creature from a mile away and no one believed my video footage because it was taken from so far away, I clearly would be without my camera the next time I saw it, when it was up close.

If everything larger than a human ate one as opportunity presented itself we'd have been gone awhile back.
Nessie isn't after you brah just give her the tree fiddy.
Edit: what's great is you won't even defend your aliens anymore. You just left em out to hang.

These animals make Great White sharks look like guppies.
Maybe some people who haven't seen one of these animals will still swim in the water but I will NEVER EVER swim in SF Bay or in the Pacific ocean again.

Maybe sea serpents have sarlacc rules where you just fuse to the wall for awhile.

Meh, I think the reaction would be similar to how the townspeople in "Jaws" reacted when the attempt by the Mayor to keep people from knowing there was a huge white shark in the water failed.
lol that's your reasoning? They're going to do all this work to cover it up just so people wouldn't be scared?
You're full of it and don't even realize it.

When did I say it was the only reason? That's just one reason the government does not want people to know these animals exist.
Have you accepted my challenge and contacted the District 9 US Coast Guard and asked them if anyone has reported sighting a sea serpent in SF Bay?
When you do that and you get an answer then get back to me and we can discuss this some more.
BTW, make sure you get the name of the person you talk to so I can call them up and verify that you actually talked to them and what they told you.

Get you facts straight, dude.
I've said over and over and over again that our first and closest sighting of one of the animals was on February 5, 1985 and that was when the animal got stuck on a submerged rocky ledge only 20 yards away from us.
Since we didn't know we were going to have a sighting of a sea serpent on February 5, 1985, we didn't bother to have a camera with us.
The first video we took of several of the animals that were about a mile away from us was almost 19 years later on January 26, 2004.

This animal lives in the water so unless you are in the water. you don't have to worry about it eating you.
The sea lion seemed to be very worried about being eaten by the animal chasing it because I've never seen a sea lion swim as fast as the one being chased was swimming. After the animal got stuck on the submerged rocky ledge, I saw the sea lion continue to swim away as fast as it could then crawl onto shore about 100 yards away.

I'll give you tree fiddy to jump into the bay at dawn any morning between November and March at the location where we had most of our sightings and be bait.

Meh, if someone posts something about the "alien" mummies that's worth responding to then I'll respond to it.

FIFY
I didn't say being killed by one of the sea serpents is worse than being killed by a Great White.
I just said these animals make Great White sharks look like guppies.

Paiva is an expert image analyst.
quote:
Ok. So he can tell us that the images are un-doctored. He has no credibility in identifying what the subject is. He does not have sufficient expertise to say that the thing wasn't a group of feeding seals, or an oarfish. Not very useful.
Paiva has the expertise to analyse the video and determine if the black objects are animate or inanimate and he determined they are animate. He also has the expertise to determine the size and shape of the animals and the way they swim.
Paiva made his written report public which explains how and why he reached his conclusion that the video contains images of several large serpentine marine animals 85+ feet in length. No known marine animal fits that description.
Any scientist can repeat what Paiva did and verify whether his conclusion is correct.
No scientist have done so yet.
quote:
Dr. Bousfield was a retired Research Associate at the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto, and the Royal British Columbia Museum in Victoria, following a long career with the Zoology Division of the National Museum, Ottawa. He researched the reports of sightings of sea serpents for many years and in particular the reports of sightings of Cadborosaurus.
quote:
So he worked in a museum, and liked imaginary animals. He was not a peer reviewed marine biologist.
Dr. Bousfield worked alongside Dr. Paul H. LeBlond, FRSC, who is a distinguished Canadian marine scientist and now retired but was a professor with the Department of Oceanography,University of British Columbia, Vancouver, B.C. and the head of the Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences at the University of British Columbia. Bousfield and LeBlond both have researched the reports of Cadborosaurus and written several books on the subject. They both authored "AN ACCOUNT OF CADBOROSAURUS WILLSI,NEW GENUS,NEW SPECIES, A LARGE AQUATIC REPTILE FROM THE PACIFIC OCEAN OF NORTH AMERICA." which was printed in Volume 1, Supplement 1 of AMPHIPACIFICA, Journal of Systematic Biology on April 20, 1995.
Of course, a majority of the Associate Editors, including Craig P. Staude and Phil Lambert were opposed to publishing the paper in AMPHIPACIFICA as a formal species description for some of the usual scientific reasons which I won't go into at this time.
quote:
Your "experts" are not very good.
That's BS.
That's just your non expert opinion.
quote:
Again I point to the Patterson Gimlin film. It was looked at by credentialed scientists in the relevant field. Scientists who have published papers. You have a guy that can tell us the image wasn't shopped and a guy who likes pretend animals. Doesn't hold up
That's the usual response of a close-minded bigot.

This is dumb. We don't believe you about it existing so obviously we would expect them to say they don't know what we're talking about it. You believe that they're covering it up so you believe they'll give the same answer. So either way it proves nothing.
Again there's no logical reason for them to cover it up.

We've got the name of the Officer who we sent our original detailed description of the animal to which included about a dozen drawings.
It has already been verified that the officer we named was working for the District 9 US Coast Guard at the time we sent the detailed description and that he is the person who would have received our detailed description and drawings.
So ask them if they ever received a report of a sea serpent in SF Bay and a detailed description of the animal which included about a dozen drawings.
When they say no it will be proof that they are lying.

What makes you the expert on the logical reasons why they would want to cover up that they know this animal exists?

Ok they'll say they received a report. That still doesn't prove they're hiding anything since it's just a report that someone sent.

Because I say I am.
Just like you're saying all this BS and calling us all "close-minded bigots" because we don't 100% believe some guy on the internet.

A few years ago, someone I know contacted the District 9 US Coast Guard and asked them if they ever received a report of a sighting of a sea serpent in SF Bay and a packet of information and drawings about the sighting from my brother and me (he named us) and they said no.
That sounds to me like they are hiding it from the public.

Meh, I'm not calling you and anyone else a close-minded bigot because you and they don't 100% believe me.
I'm calling you and anyone else a close-minded bigot because you and they 100% believe sea serpents don't exist and I am an eyewitness who KNOWS with 100% certainty that sea serpents do exist.
Since I KNOW with 100% certainty that sea serpents do exist, I get to call anyone who says sea serpents don't exist a close-minded bigot and I intend to call anyone who says sea serpents don't exist a close-minded bigot every time they tell me sea serpents don't exist.

The reasons are simple
1) no one wants to search the crank files for 30 yo nonsense.
2) it probably got trashed immediately as crank and never scanned into later digital media.
3) you never sent anything in.
I'll go with 3.

Words are wind and your proof and experts have been repeatedly debunked in this and other threads.
You're passionate about your lie or this character you've made on the internet. That's cool. Just accept that you have no win.
You'll always be tree fiddied because you're a fraud, sometimes entertaining, but just a fraud in the end.

Or they thought it was dumb thing and unimportant and they threw it away after a certain time. So let's say they (that officer specifically not the coast guard as whole) don't think it exists and so thinks your report of seeing a massive sea serpent is BS (and unimportant) so he throws it away.
quote:
I'm calling you and anyone else a close-minded bigot because you and they 100% believe sea serpents don't exist and I am an eyewitness who KNOWS with 100% certainty that sea serpents do exist.
I actually stated in another post to you that I'm not saying they 100% don't exist.
You keep saying we're not open minded but it seems you're too open minded. You didn't actually see the serpent right next to you but you still are absolutely certain of what you saw. People don't always know what they see. Even eyewitnesses to crimes are not entirely reliable because they have been known to unknowingly add details that never happened. Again you saw this, as you claimed a mile away, and never saw the full thing or even a significant portion of it but you're still 100% certain of what you saw. It's possible you're just seeing what you are wanting to see.
