I am VERY PROUD we on Tiger Droppings, along with virtually every TV Sportscaster, color analyst, writer, and even TIM TEBOW, could HELP Coach O motivate his team to play with some intensity by criticizing their weak, pathetic performances up to the Fla Game, . . . . I wonder if the Coaching STAFF could find ways to just coach the team to play harder in the future?

Translation:

"Thanks for the external pressure, because I was one of the only ones giving 100% each play. I can't play every position."

I got your back DW

I think I agree with him.

But the biggest people who said LSU was soft was their own damn opponents who whipped their asses.

Just so great to hear accountability. This is someone who cares about winning, not about the ephemeral prognostications of the week.

Question is, why did it take all of that for them to play better? I thought O's job was to get the team motivated?

Because O is incompetent. Sometimes "it takes a village," in the words of tRant's favorite sociopath.

Exactly. I'm trying to figure out what exactly O does. I thought he was an "inspirational, unifying, CEO-type of coach" because he is certainly not an "Xs and Os"-type of coach. However, when he started throwing folks under the bus during press conferences (e.g. coordinators, players), alienating his OC to the point of (a) needing to physically separated from him and (b) being required to meet with his coordinators and the AD to "make sure everyone is on the same page", he's not showing that either.

He's shown he is not the guy that will lead LSU to championships. The media (e.g. Finebaum this morning) are flat-out saying Orgeron's not a good coach.

If he loses Canada and/or Aranda at the end of the year he is toast. That can happen even if LSU goes 8-4 and goes to a decent bowl.

I'll pretty much guarantee Canada is gone after this year. Aranda probably goes to the NFL also.

Somebody needs to stitch some stars on the shoulders of Devin White's jersey because he's been our goddamn general. His leadership and play has been the biggest bright spot of the season IMO.

Devin has the EYE, damn straight.

Here's a 1 minute message from Nick Saban to the media at the ATM post-game press conference. I can't think of a more succinct way to illustrate the polar opposite situations between our program, and Alabama's program.

Saban's idea of Rat Poisen

There's a reason some of us are critical, just like former players McFarland and Spears were critical after Troy. Now keep it going!
