I mean, what offense does he fit? Most offenses are predicated on a QB standing in the pocket, not some yahoo running around.
Plus, why would I pay another average QB a bunch of money when I can just stick with the average one I have now? I mean really, how many QBs is he better than? And how much money are those guys being paid? Cutler's no exactly great, but didn't they pay him $10 mil? Same for Glennon?

This is going to sound crazy, but I respect Kaepernick more than any of the other NFL players that are protesting or demonstrating or whatever they want to call it. I don't think he was smart, but I think he (in his own mind) thought he was doing something of significance to maybe start a dialogue or draw attention to his perceived injustice. These other guys are doing what they are doing only because Trump rustled their jimmys.
