Or Big Macs? Big Macs are killing the frick out of Americans these days. Death by gun numbers are largely influenced by suicides.

That's it. I'm boycotting Rouses. His opinion is different from mine.

well plenty muzzies now are using cars to kill people intentionally. how about knives? plenty killed with knives? what is intended purpose of those? cutting things? or stabbing? oh yes we will talk abortion. deaths are deaths. and those are done intentionally not accidentally!

What bothers me in all of this is that people are just unwilling to have the conversation at all. You mention anything about "gun control" and people lose their shite. I mean, we've had the 2 worst mass shootings in US history in the last 16 months. MAYBE there isn't anything else that can be done, but why not have the discussion to see if more can be done from preventing some of these people from getting these guns. I know there can be reasonable discussion had, but everyone is shouting to loud about one extreme or the other for the discussion to be heard.

2/3 gun deaths are suicide. If someone wants to kill themselves, they will find a way. If someone wants to kill a bunch of people, they will find a way, like a big box truck. There is no way to legislate someone's heart or mind. The only people that suffer are law abiding citizens. Criminals already break laws, what's one more law to break? And sorry but the right to keep and bear ARMS shall not be infringed. If the founders had wanted to state muskets, they would have. They didn't.

LMAO do you loons really think more people in this country have been saved by citizens with guns than have been killed?

Let me see some numbers. You could add up every mass killing attack with trucks and it wouldn't even be one month of gun deaths in the U.S. I bet.

Most people who legally possess firearms aren't the ones killing people.
Also by that logic cars should be illegal...they are 10 times more likely to cause a death than a firearm.

How do you suffer by having to go through a more rigorous gun screening process or not having the ability to own high powered weapons designed for mass killing (not hunting, protection, etc.)?

I love the saints while they’re on the field. I couldn’t care less about their politics. No idea why a lot of you let these athletes/coaches get you so bent out of shape. Frick what they think... get ready for Detroit

twitter is all about getting a reaction, not the best platform for that discussion

There's already criminal background checks in place. Criminals still get guns. Fail #1. Fully auto weapons have been banned since 1986. No new ones are allowed. You can buy a pre-ban one but they require even further screening from the ATF, if they are acquired legally and they are really expensive. If people are bringing in fully auto weapons across the border, that's breaking existing law. So, let's build the wall. If someone illegally modified a semi-auto weapon to fire fully auto that is also against the law. But so is killing a bunch of people and the criminal who is willing to kill doesn't give a frick about the laws that they break.

How about alcohol or other recreational drugs impairing driving?
What is the point of those items? Should they be banned? A gun has far more utility in regards to protecting one's life, loved ones, and property. Alcohol and drugs simply provide a high. So because we have lots of alcohol and drug related deaths, by extending the logic, why isn't there a movement to remove them from society in the name of saving lives?

I really enjoy the "don't they have a job to do?" crowd. Like they don't ignore their family and spend 16 hours a day on Tigerdroppings identifying "enemies of the state."
