Our final record will be something between 3-9 and 5-7. I agree we won't lose out. But I also disagree about us making a bowl.

Sorry, I can't see us beating anybody, we get blown out by Mississippi State and beat by Troy and you think we can win an SEC game. Fat chance

We just lost to Troy and almost lost to an awful Syracuse team. I'd say all bets are off.

Not going to cast my downvote because you present a logical and well thought out opinion in the OP subject.

But won't cast my upvote either because I can see no possible scenario in which this team makes even the Car Care Bowl.

No. We may beat Tenn., but that's it.

What's funny about you discussing last year is that if we had kept Miles, we would have ended up with a better record than we had. Miles would have beaten Florida.

Can we use the "bring back the magic" theme that was Dinardo's claim to fame, or is it too soon lol?

I agree if they get a shite bowl at 6-6 then it should not be celebrated. However, they're going to lose to Florida, Auburn and Alabama. That means they have to win 3/4 against Arkansas, Tennessee, A&M and Ole Miss. I don't think they can do it.

Fair enough, I'll take it

I feel like so many in this thread just aren't getting the point I'm making. Not saying the season will be salvaged or anything like that.

Just saying teams like Ole Miss, Tennessee, Arkansas, and A&M might just be even worse. They clearly have worse talent and don't even have coaches that are that much better than O. Even Florida wouldn't be a huge upset seeing how bad they have looked.

We could very easily bungle our way to three or four more wins without improving a lick.

The SEC is just that bad.

He can.

Dunno if he will, but there is no limit to his incompetence.

Not seeing it. After two losses to Auburn and UF, LSU will be through mentally as a team. Looking towards the bye week Ole Miss will dickslap us. Bama will beat us by 50 and not giving a frick anymore we'll lose to Arkansas. Even though Tennessee is bad, you're talking about a team with nothing to play for, going on the road vs a team that plays much better in the second half of the season under Butch. After that we'll face a TAMU team who thinks it is the perfect opportunity to finally beat us. We'll lose and finish 3-9.

O will be fired after December 1st along with Alleva, and we'll get Chad Morris or another promising young HC, and actually have some hope towards the future.

Geaux Tigers. I don't mind the Weedeater Bowl. What's it called these days?

Whattya Know. It's the Walk-Ons Independence Bowl now.

At roughly the same time, former LSU running back Jacob Hester, a partner in the restaurant, tweeted that Walk-On’s was the “title sponsor” of the annual contest at Shreveport’s Independence Stadium. The tweet was later deleted.

it's entirely possible and right now probable LSU loses out, if the locker room dissent rumors are true

we may not lose out, but I think O has completely lost the players, and the coaches too. And that's something that can't be fixed overnight, if at all.

We may win a couple more, but I think things get worse from here, not better.

LSU quit against Moo st, looked like absolute shite against Syracuse, lost to Troy, and you have confidence that they’re going to win THREE SEC games, some of which on the road?!?

I'll begin by saying LSU is pitiful and i also have no faith in them winning 3 SEC games, but you are just assuming SEC is better because it's SEC

This is strictly taken out of context so isnt that logical but Alabama's point differential this hear vs SEC teams is already wayyyy higher than out of conference

Alabama beat FSU (good team, doesnt count) by 17, Fresno State by 31, and Colorado State by 18

Alabama beat Vandy by 59 and Ole Miss by 63

Im not saying this means much because they could've tried less for cupcake games but still, that kind of says something
