Not a lot of deer back there. Some swamp deer here n there. I've hunted back there a few times but that was 10 plus yrs ago before all that area got developed.

Honestly they probably realize it's likely he passed. They probably would rather find him and have the bandaids ripped off than this minor false sense of hope that they have and know they shouldn't.

I went walking back there a few years ago. I went in from Burbank and walked until I came up on the back of Highland. I saw a bunch of oil equipment back there and a bunch of other stuff I didn’t recognize but don’t remember seeing stands. I doubt it’s a hunting ‘club’ but maybe a spot where a couple of people that live around there hunt every now and then.

The body is that of the LSU boy. One of my buddies friends found him.
A gun and bike were also found.

Just watched the FB live video of Casey Hicks. It's the LSU student unfortunately.
She said "they believe" it's him.
Reporter asked if there were any personal belongings found with the remains and she said "that's what leads us to believe it's him." Sound like they found ID or something.

So how does no one on this board know the guy? Someone should know him that post here but I haven’t seen one person claim to know him. Where’s he from? How long was he at LSU?
