Why does a subject/post about WHITE PRIVILEGE get wacked?

I've been told I have "white privilege" from Gregg Popovich of the San Antonio Spurs and from Shannon Sharpe on First take. Why can't we have a discussion on it? Why does Chicken and his crew have a hard time letting us discuss it? I have white privilege and according to Gregg Popovich I am starting at the 50 yard line in a 100 yard race (funny word RACE is right?). Shannon Sharpe says "since I am white and a male, I am starting on the 80 yard mark in a 100 yard race". I'm confused on what exactly I should do since people are telling me I have an advantage in life. What should I do with all of this hard earned money I have made in my lifetime? Should I find a minority website seeking money to make me feel better? I am torn. Should I just move to the mountains away from everyone and let everyone figure it out? You want to know how I really feel? I can't say because Chicken will wack my thread. We are living in a world of pussies and everyone wants a handout because "insert your problem here".

The only time I can think of where there was a situation that might be considered privilege, is this: My parents had a lawnmower, and a few of our neighbors had the money to pay me $3.00 to $5.00 to mow their yard. A kid of any color living in the projects, probably didn't have a lawnmower or neighbors with the money to pay them to mow their yard. I mowed yards and hand stuffed inserts into newspapers in elementary school and junior high. In high school, I pumped gas, fixed car, truck and tractor flats, did oil changes, transmission fluid changes, etc at a full service gas station our next door neighbor owned. In college I did construction, worked as a welder's helper, cleared a snake infested lake of trees, hauled hay with a friend that owned a truck. I clearly believe I had an advantage in finding employment when I was growing up. My neighbors, people we went to church with, etc. knew and trusted me to work for them. I get that, but don't understand what I'm supposed to do now. I've been paying taxes that have been used to help underprivileged people, business owners and politicians for 44 years. What else am I supposed to do?
