No he isn't. That is a lie.

Yes, he is. He's using his power to pressure a private enterprise into suppressing free speech by their employees. By all accounts, that private enterprise is OK with employees expressing their free speech in this manner. So Trump should GTFO and go worry about tax reform and North Korea.

You obviously have no clue as to what "freedom of speech" means, as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.

he is not trying to suppress anything you MORON CUBED. He is stating there are repercussions. Especially in the private sector. they can protest all they want on their time and not during the anthem. Run back to democratic Underground and get some more stupid talking points. I'll wait for you here.

No.

He expressed an opinion. He excercised HIS right to free speech.

Something YOU clearly don't believe he's entitled to do.

NFL made and agreed to rules forbidding what the players and owners are allowing to occur. Thanks for playing.

Does the President not have freedom of speech too?

It's not like he sent the IRS after them or wire tapped their offices because he didn't like their views.

Btw, do I still have a freedom of speech? Am I still allowed to say frick the NFL and the kneeling players?

I'm pretty sure it's the folks who usually buy the tickets and the merchandise that are squeezing the NFL. Sponsors are dropping athletes not because of the President, but because the consumer is looking for another option. A smart sponsor picks up Villanueva now.

The NFL seems to have vastly underestimated their target audience.
