Sorry for thread after thread. Couldn't really find one to piggyback for this.
I'm no football guru, but I couldn't see how any of that was fooling anyone.

I thought the playbook was already supposed to be incredibly simple.

I thought it was already the simplest offense to learn in the whole country. Either they lied or our guys are brain dead idiots and I refuse to believe the latter.

Every time they are shifting and motioning, the defenses seem to be totally unaffected.

I don't think it's the plays. The pre-motion stuff might be confusing some players, or with the poor O-line play, we probably need to get rid of the window dressing and focus on simply moving the ball.

He’s referring to the movement

they've really fricked themselves from some of the things they've said to the media regarding the offense in the offseason

it's a bit cringeworthy to watch, honestly

Cause that high school shite don't work against superior athletes that we face in the SEC

He was at Pitt for 1 year only.

I thought a lot of Canada's offense involved quick drops by the QB and quick-hitters to the receivers/tight ends/backs, etc. And with an inexperienced O-Line,this would seem like a great idea, but we haven't seen much of this. What gives?

I feel like they don't know what they are doing

I dont care what they call it but from what it looks like to me - Canada needs to go back to basics himself also.
Very poor play calling.
Use the pistol; shotgun and shorter quicker developing routes to help the offense as a whole move the ball easier.

It does nothing anyway, specially if the team is in a zone.

I hope this happens, the stupid motion is getting comical at this point. Not only is it not fooling anyone, but it opens us up to confusion and penalties as well as wasting energy.

I think you'd be perfectly within reason to have that feeling

SEC defenses are to big, fast, and smart to be fooled by a load of nonsensical motion, Utah passes, and jet sweeps.
Long live the toss dive

I believe the concept is to see what type of defense they are in by how they react and then have the option to change the play to exploit that. I feel like we're missing the 2nd step.
