Noise at the Dome

Was it just me, or was it really quiet in the dome when we were on defense?
And on another note, I've been going to games all my life, and I can't ever remember it being louder than it was on Sunday when the Patriots scored their first TD. Admittedly, I only went to one game last year, so this could be a trend I'm unaware of.

It was great until the Saints let the Patriots convert every 3rd down on route to a 20-3 1st quarter lead (and then 30-13 halftime). Tough to get crowd into the game when the team falls so far behind so quickly. Of course it got quiet.

I love the Saints and the Super Dome as much as the next guy but the dome has totally lost it's edge in the last 3-4 years.
Playing at the dome used to be a guaranteed win and a nightmare for opposing offenses. Now it's slightly deafening on 30% of 3rd downs

Dome has sucked the last 3 years. It's not even the same people (at least around me) attending games anymore. The noise is not intimidating at all like it was from 2006 to 2013.

Our run is over - we barely get face value for bargain seats now. If we go 3-13 we may not be a slam dunk to sell out next season with season tickets alone.

Having teams constantly converting 3rd downs, scoring at will, and general suckitude will suck all of the life out of a home crowd.

It's because the team is garbage. Fans don't create wins for teams no matter how much smoke some try to blow up the fans' asses.

Kind of hard to get loud on defense when the opposing team already has dropped 20 when fans are still filing in and getting situated in their seats

People weren't cheering b/c they were standing on their jaws out of amazement from the shite show that was being put on.
