Ruger has started making many of their rifles in left handed models. I would check out Ruger as well.

Just get him a right handed one like the rest of us, it doesnt matter...

Not real sure if there is a youth lefty besides the browning.
The tikka left hand are all long actions so no point in getting a short action round.
Hard to recommend a rifle without a price range but go shop the right hand models. After you find what you like just order the lefty that you want. Most store have crap for left handed guns.

I've got an old Savage lefty in 30-06 that's great. Look online and you may be able to find a good deal on one.

Get him a Remington 7600 pump instead.

Remington and Savage both make youth models. Other most likely do as well, as posted earlier.
I do know the Remington bolt action has a shorter stock, and thus a shorter length of pull. It can be swapped with an adult stock for cheap later when needed.

I'm left handed and proudly shoot a LH T3 as my go-to rifle.
I would also research getting him an Encore for long-term purposes.

All tikkas are long action although in the short action calibers, the bolt stop stops the bolt from moving back sooner. Also, 6.5x55 is a great long action caliber that a kid can shoot.

Not sure how old your son is, but I bought my now 13-year-old son a Savage Model 11 Trophy Hunter XP left-hand youth model .243 when he was 8. He still loves shooting it and it has performed flawlessly. For the money, it's tough to beat.

How old is your son and what are you hunting?

Im a lefty, still the same Remington 700 my dad got me 20 something years ago.
Any of the ones listed so far are good.
How big is your son? Age and Size.

I'm a right handed but left eye dominant and have always shot long guns left handed.
I have a left handed Tikka T3 .308 with a Vortex Diamondback and it's a tack driver. Would recommend

CZ,Savage,or Tikka.
Or,consider finding a nice old Winchester model 88 lever action, most are in .308,but they also built many in .243
The Browning BLRs are nice too. Marlin also made a similar rifle for a while.
