Yeah, you're not going to convince us that there's more to do in Nola than San Diego.

My wife moved down here from Pittsburgh area for a job.

My question is: how did she find a job in Nola? The job market sucks

I've never had cancer, but does that mean I'm not at risk? Or cancer doesn't exist?

If you think New Orleans qualifies as a large city you are mistaken.

That's the problem with that town, you are an medium-ish sized city with big city problems.

it's also a mid sized city with big city entertainment, cuisine, and events. which is one of the things i like most about nola.

with so many legitimate criticisms of New Orleans, I don't understand why people feel the need to keep falling back on this ridiculous fabrication

Let them believe that, it keeps them out of the places I work, live and play.

Never been, mate. I'm hoping I can get to NOLA early enough before my flight tomorrow to crush some Mais Arepas.

Major corporations are headquartered in Pittsburgh. Huge with tech companies (east coast region of Sillicon Valley). Top healthcare/hospitals in the nation. Top notch colleges/universities. Look at Heinz Field, PPG Arena, and PNC Ballpark. Downtown has a cool vibe. Plus, there is so much old money in Pittsburg...a lot of them invest in the area. Pittsburgh has it shite going and people are flocking to the city to work and live with millennials graduating to start their careers.
