Have you taken a look around lately? Divorce rate is above 50% - let me know how stemming that tide works out for you...
How much of that 50% are individuals that are serial "divorcers"? These people skew the numbers as much as repeat offender skew the image of blacks in some peoples minds.

17 lesbian couples
I've never met a lesbian couple who didn't think their kid was transgender and push them into weird shite at a young age.
M/M couples were the opposite. They seemed faaar more normal.

Wait? What ? That's multiple studies and universally accepted. Read my post again.

Did they control for confounding factors? For instance, most kids raised by same sex couples are adoptees or foster children. It's possible that those kids already had "issues" regardless of who ended up being their parents.

But that's always going to be an issue in conducting a study on something that really isn't that common
True... only approximately 9 million LGBT Americans. Where would they ever find one?

However, stats show equivalent economic situations (single-parent vs two-parent housholds) are far from the norm
It's just bizarre that gay men would be a trend with obesity. If anything I'd think it would more likely lead to anorexia than anything else. It's like saying that a person raised by vegetarians is more likely to become a carnivore.

Now compare a child raised in a non-stable, same sex home. It happens you know.

About 20%. And the divorce numbers as a percentage are trending down.

So people telling Christians that they're backwards and regressive has a harmful effect on the children of Christian families?
I'm making assumptions here I very seriously doubt that happens as much as the example I mentioned.

How many have children?

We are all degenerates. In some way. It's the human condition bro.
no doubt that none are perfect...but we can try and be virtuous...but unfortunately that is not the majority..or at least that is what we are made to believe...instead its hypergamy, homosexuality, abortion, etc...that we see all over tv, social media, etc....being imperfect is not an excuse for becoming Sodom and Gomorrah.

but to play into your point...why do so many divorces happen?...degeneracy...people being influenced by our cheat and have fun fulfill your desires society...both men and women...there is no sacrifice..no compromise...and frankly not enough alpha male leadership going on in homes...and I mean positive leadership....not abuse
You and I agree more than you think on the subject. However, what always seems to get lost in the argument of pointing out the issues with one group or another is the "plank" in our own eye...
The population of same sex households in this country is minute when compared to single parent & divorced households... So, my point is simply that if we did more to ensure that kids were raised in hetero households then maybe society might be a little less "degenerate"...

Which is kind of irrelevant. Either outside statements and opinions affect children or they don't.

Yeah. I think my biggest criticism of this study, besides the limited scale, is how it is heavily sided to lesbian couples
plenty of studies demonstrate the importance of a father figure in a child's mental health, so it doesn't surprise me that the numbers are skewed high
there are also plenty of studies that show the correlation of parents suffering from depression to the influence that has on their children, and women also have a higher rate of depression, so...
this study is textbook confirmation bias

Democrat party is clearly the party of emotion and not science.
Why does the alt-left not believe in science??

A biological father is far more likely to not abuse his children than Momma's boyfriend. Read the data . Sexual abuse, physical abuse, child murder - its Shaquita and Crystal's new boyfriend - not her husband/baby's father.

Agreed. This means not chasing every whim and feeling and satisfaction. Not sure we are ready for that anytime soon as a country.

Approximately 220,000.

Lesbians are not great as a group demo when it comes to mental health and stability (to say nothing of domestic violence).
