OK, I simply don't know what to expect for now. But, I can't imagine that the suspensions (if they are accurate) will not affect on field performance. Seems we will be awfully thin on in the defensive front 7. Is this enough to keep the game in question?

Hopefully, the O can churn out some long drives and keep our D fresh.
So, just looking for some insight...what do others feel will be the implications of this issue.

The game will never be in question in my opinion.

We are LSU. They are BYU.

Are you really worried?

I-H8, I wouldn't be so down on your team, the Tigers have a chance.

Yeah, we should win this game handily. Crazy stuff happens in games with a lot of young guys playing in college for the first time. Our lack of depth for this game is a bit worrisome.

Keep in mind these suspensions have probably been in place for a while allowing the coaching staff to plan around them. Not an optimal personnel situation but plenty of time to reduce the impact.

Wander if Ohio state fans said that about Indiana. 7-3 Hoosier and they've controlled the 1st quarter easily

I do not know for sure who exactly will not play Saturday night except Key. I have seen several lists, 5-7 players, all of which include different players.

I think the game will be closer than most LSU fans think. BYU has a pretty stout D and it's our first game with a new offense. I'm thinking 24-10 or something like that. Who knows if we have several turnovers. I also think Byu will have trouble scoring on Arnada's D

You're nuts if you think BYU brought their A game last week. Stealthy approach as to not give away too much looks.

Might not blow them out. But game will not be in question like others have said.

The front seven will be fine. Those freshman are killer. Still freshman but just need to stick to their assignments. Listen to White. Listen to the DLman. Hell I'm not sure BYU will be able to get through our DL. We could always move to a 4 man front in this game as well. Aranda is our coordinator, he'll figure it out. BYU is in some trouble and there's no way around it really. Our CBs could be exposed if they were really young but we aren't that
young there so I'm not too concerned.

Anthony sure looked good in the spring game from what I saw and if Thornton and Chassion had passed him up, then they are really good athletes people. Losing Divinity hurts depth but we still have Thompson who I've heard is really good. Could play Phillips and Taylor as back ups there and in Alexanders spot. So I see more time for those two and I'm not sure if that's a bad thing. Queen could also play there.

We could also go to a 4-2-5 look. Depth at DL put White and Thompson at LB with Phillips/Taylor/Queen for depth. Aranda is calling the shots which makes me feel much better. Lol

My guess is that the Tigers will employ a 3-3-5 look around 60-70% on D.

Suck it... Indiana gave em all they could handle the first half. Sure we knew OSU would be too much but it's dumbasses like u that said the same crap last year and made Lsu fans look ignorant. I bet you were right there with the best of em.

Looks like we may get to see Jacob Phillips and Tyler Taylor a little sooner than we anticipated. I hope they live up to the hype. Also maybe Greedy too.

The beginning of the game will be tied as we all know and if the LSU offense struggles and our defense gets scored on first then the first two quarters will be interesting but LSU's overall talent should take over in the 2nd half.

Hopefully we come out of the starting blocks fast and the game is never close.

Watched Arkansas play Florida A&M and this game was never close but at the start of the game and BYU is no patsy team for sure and LSU will have to show up to win this game with ease.

Cliff notes please
What's the suspensions for, and who do they involve?
I haven't kept up and too lazy to research.

Not concerned about the Defense.

Not concerned about the QB's.
Not concerned about the RB's.
Not concerned about the TE's/F-Backs.

Somewhat concerned about WR drops. (Consistent LSU problem area)

Completely concerned about overall OL talent level, pass protection and blown assignments. (Consistent LSU problem area) BYU aint Bama and we shouldn't struggle in this phase of the game in the OL...........
