I'm going to go out on a limb and guess a lot of your fans in Texas and like you keep mentioning, Houston, are worried about more than a football game right now, just as much as our fans from the same areas.

To bitch about where this game is being played is a little out of context when you think about why it's being moved.

This. I don't see how New Orleans doesn't get hit with flooding in a few days.

No BYU (and its national fanbase)= no $4 million offer for LSU to play in this game. ESPN most certainly cares in their investment. You're just a regional school anyways so what would y'all know.

How many tickets did BYU sell to begin with? Wasn't it less than 10K? It wasn't going to be 80-20.

LSU fans have no idea what is coming their way. This is a different team since Kalani Sitake took over as head coach for Bronco Mendenhall last year. Tanner Mangum (qb) was co-MVP of the Elite 11 with Jameis Winston. Yes, that Jameis Winston. See you all on Saturday.

A. We got more than BYU to play.

B. Why would BYU agree to a neutral site near LSU with no return trip? It's because BYU wants to play a marquee name school, put LSU on their resume, make money, and advertise the BYU brand.

All of our games are usually nationally or regionally televised, even when we play bottom feeders like BYU.

Dumb Idea to have it in New Orleans
1. Its in the path of Harvey and if they get flooded, then kiss this game goodbye.

2. This screws over the BYU fanbase. We just went from it being a 80/20 LSU/BYU to a 97/3 LSU/BYU. We better get a return game out of this.

3. This became a defacto home game for LSU. Should have moved it to Dallas or Phoenix.

4. I wouldn't be surprised if this game gets cancelled due to flooding in New Orleans and we see the folks running this show as the idiots they are.
