Truth. See Trickle-down economics or Repeal and Replace as proof.

So, they were not abducted out of the jungle and forced to the U.S.? Does that mean we can stop all this white people are the devil rhetoric?

I've never heard that. I am no history buff, but I am fairly knowledgeable on history, especially American History. When you say the claim has been around since 1860 is it like the claim that there is a fountain of youth or city of gold or is there actually credible evidence? I don't know so I'm really asking. Some say the Vikings sailed to North America in 1000AD, but this guys claim was that Africans were doing it 500 years before that. I find that hard to believe.

Especially considering the fact that 500 years ago in sub-Saharan Africa the most impressive structures were mud and grass huts. They couldn't built a house out of stone but expect people to believe that they could build a ship to cross the ocean.

So is he saying that Africans were sailing back and forth from Africa to North America 1000 years before Columbus?

All without the wheel. Or written language. Or ships. Or even Bronze Age technology.
Amazing isn't it?

ETA: "Black folks from Africa wuz here 1000 years before Christopher Columbus was even born" So they were sailing across oceans in 400 AD?? Impressive.

but boats man, they built the frick out of boats and sailed the world a million times over.

they shaped the wood with their minds....
