Amazon either adapts to the crowds or they lose business. Other stores either meet the WF price or lose business.
Why does everyone all of a sudden hate Econ 101 when it's that dirty cuck Jeff Bezos using it to his advantage?

You lefties enjoy your estrogen filled "organic" food. I'll be eating deer meat and whatever they got at Golden Corral

So it will be $8 for 6 organic eggs instead of $12?
why do people always exaggerate prices like this?
its the same thing with every Starbucks thread

I welcome the lower prices, but what is going to happen when there's a huge increase in the amount of people trying to buy stuff from WF?
Meh. Most WF locations are already in areas where people aren't that price sensitive so I doubt this has a huge impact.

I hope they do not ruin the bakery or meat section at whole foods. Much better quality of stuff than other grocery chains.

I love your more obvious trolls because that makes the upvotes for the less obvious ones so much more delicious

But firms in perfectly competitive markets are not price makers. They can't just lower prices below the market clearing rate and not deal with a flood of buyers flooding their store.
That's why firms are price takers in competitive markets.

This could eventually hurt foodservice distribution more than it hurts other grocers long term.
Amazon is so user-friendly that they're going to start poaching off business from US Foods, Sysco, Dot Foods, etc item by item.

So can we count you as supporting a universal living wage due to innovation taking low-skilled jobs?

block ultimately meaningless "innovations" like Amazon acquiring Whole Foods through sheer force and Uber/Tesla pioneering driverless 18-wheelers with tax payer funded innovation concepts.
You lose retail and truck drivers, we're already at the point where we need minimum living wage.
The other alternative which I personally favor is forcibly putting birth limits on people in third-world countries and eventually on all but those who can afford to pay punitive taxes on extra children.

It's not worth it and Trump administration should not allow this acquisition to go through.
you haven't learned that trump couldn't care less about an american that isn't constantly complementing him or putting money in his pocket?
he lies to all our faces every day and never apologizes, and that's a man you trust to have your best interest in mind? he doesn't even respect his base.

This is disgusting and will crush retail grocery and harm foodservice distribution,
You do realize that in many cases, they could cut Whole Foods prices by 50% and still be more expensive than a lot of retail grocery stores?

Yeah I'm not going to worry about WF becoming WalMart until they start building them in ghettos

They can to gain market share if they have other sources of income to stay solvent. That may be Econ 102, but I'm legitimately confused by the frustration here. This is a capitalist wet dream!

Why do some people bash Walmart and praise Bezos?
