2010 Tennessee

It was the first and only time I've gotten up and left before the Alma Mater.
I was half way out of the tunnel when I heard someone say it wasn't over, and then I watched the the rest of it from the fence by the tunnel.
I'm still pissed off that we had to live with that same level of coaching and game management for 5 more seasons.

Hell, most of the games from 2012 through 2015 made me miserable to watch us "keep it close and win it late".

They had quite a few with Miles because even when we won it was still frustrating as all get out. So many "ugly" wins that I got tired of hearing "well a W is a W".

2012 at Auburn was probably my least favorite. They weren't good, and our inept offense kept them in the game.

It was our first trip up there too, had a great time up until the game.

ending was great but that team stunk the place up that day.

Even Saban was unhappy, you could see it in the post game interview. I swear I thought he was going to apologize for winning the game.

That win against Oregon State at home about a decade ago. Hard one to watch.

If you root against your own team, you're not a fan of that team. I don't want you to have my back in a fight, I don't want to rely on you for me to make a living and I certainly can't be expected to trust you with anything important.

You're not a "fan." You're a pussy. A childish one at that.

A "childish pussy"? I always know when I'm winning an argument when the other guy launches into personal attacks.

I'm 53 years old and have been an LSU fan since I was a child. Grew up in Baton Rouge. Loved the Tigers down to my core. Graduated from LSU. Still love the Tigers.

But you bet I pulled against LSU after it became clear that Hallman was a disaster and was tanking our program and we needed a change. And I did the same when it was painfully clear that Johnny Jones was doing the same thing last year.

I'd make the argument that I love LSU just as much as you, but I have clearer vision, not blinded by purple and gold, and am fine with enduring short term pain for long term gain. It's just a longer-term view, not instant gratification.

Hallman wasn't the answer. Jones wasn't the answer. At the end, Miles wasn't the answer. So best to get them gone asap, rather than letting them linger for years.

Alabama in 07 (Saban's first game). The gumps were leaving with shite eating grins. One of them told me congratulations on the win, there won't be many more with Saban there. Another one told me Saban built LSU and that He was now going to bring LSU down. frick me, that was a shite feeling leaving that game. I'm aware we won the National title that year, but they were really outmatched in the first two seasons and that game should have never been that close. I found myself saying that with regularity after that season.

Auburn 2012- They were hot garbage, and we probably would have lost if we didn't get a safety in the first quarter.

This game was fun to watch. It just wasn't what we thought we were watching at the time.

If in the stadium, the happiness and then the pain of Tennessee fans in the stands made this tolerable if you were there. If I was watching from home, I could agree with you.

Florida 2005- We just kept giving them the ball, pretty sure we turned it over 5 or 6 times that day.

Was fine. We won.

That was fun but sucked at the same time because I had to sit in the Florida student section.

But Tennessee and Troy, hands down.

And honestly any of the number of Les coached games where you were counting on the backup QB getting some garbage time but never pulling away to let that happen.

UNC 2010 in Atlanta.

As well as we played and PP7 being god-like in this game, it still came down to a UNC 4th-and-goal for the win if I can remember correctly.
