Has anyone discussed the difficulty of playing the game in Houston if they get 24 inches of rain over the next week?

I'm assuming that the roof will be closed, we'll play on turf and nothing changes?

Especially since the storm will be long gone by next Saturday night in Houston.

you I really dont think we will be playing in Houston. Like another person said it will be like a super dome after Katrina. It will be a place where people can go and get supplies to recover. Lets move it to LSU..

Nope, not at all. Not even the 3 page thread we had on this yesterday.

if this game were to somehow get cancelled none of our early entries from the 2015 class will have played a full 12 game regular season at LSU

Not that it's a big deal but I always wonder what Fournettes 2015 and Arden Keys 2016 would look like in the record books with that extra game. Could have been ~2200 yards and 14/15 sacks

It would suck donkey balls if for three years in a row we would only play 11 regular season games because of weather. Hope there is a contingency plan in place.

If we cancel a game for 3 years in a row of 11 game seasons I will do something unpleasant. We were 10-3 in 2015

No need to worry----------yesterday, they finished installing 2 O-Rings on the stadium---1 @ ground level & the other where the roof meets the side walls.....Double protection, IYKWIM....

normally i wouldn't be worried, but the stadium is in the hood. usually poor people get flooded first.

I think LSU fans are paranoid after the last few years.

Houston will not cancel this game...they can handle this.

I think it is funny how people outside of Houston are more worried about this little storm than those of us who live in Houston.

Hell I am in the SW suburbs and am not really all that worried...

It's a valid point. LSU needs to start making contingency plans just in case. This storm is projected to stall for a few days over the same area we are playing. Wouldn't be a bad idea to have a plan in advance. We don't want to look like FL last year and we need to play this game on schedule.

I don't think there should be much worry about the game yet. It may be difficult to get into town, but I doubt even that.
