I guess you could look at it as he's the lowest RB on their depth chart so he won't be in the league to do that during the regular season?

I served so he can have the right to kneel down during the anthem.

When all of this started, I somewhat questioned it and thought the 'movement' was not necessary. People like you and others on this site have shown me that we still have a long way to go. I consider you to be much more of a disgrace to LSU than someone like Magee.

It really all comes down to having empathy for others.

Kneeling during the national anthem ? He joins Eric Reid in disgracing LSU.

I saw that, I held back my comments. It certainly is his right to do that but it is also my right to no longer support him and hope he is successful in the NFL. It also isn't very smart. If the NFL will blackball Kap then what do you think they will do to a guy who is barely hanging onto a NFL career.

He certainly has the right, but his CHOICE disgusts me!

Exactly, I'm for his freedom to do it, but I think he's disgraceful.

Except for the mentally insane, there's no excuse for it. As much as I love LSU and our players, he's an idiot.

The movement isn't the problem. The method is.

I don't watch the NFL anymore, so I don't have to worry about the stupid shite these guys are doing anymore or the stupid commentators.

Thank you, Sam.

I only wish you could say it louder, I'm sure somebody in the back didn't hear you.

I just wish they would quit panning to guys kneeling during the national anthem. Only reason this still gets attention is because they make sure to air it. I want to watch the game not some protest.

It's fine to do this but not at a sporting event. You don't bring political issues to a sporting event. This is why it's getting so much blow back. People go to these places to enjoy the GAME! Not players protesting. It's not about having empathy for others, it's about entertainment. Have you seen what every other channel or place that have expressed their political views to the world did for them? It's cost them lots of views and money. The NFL DOES NOT want this in it's sport and I don't blame them. If you want to express your views, go to a rally, make a sign, get on CNN or Fox News and do that. Not at a football game where people pay good money to watch entertainment, not political protesting in front of them. It's sad really.

They are hurting their own place of employment, which is counter productive if you ask me. There are a hell of a lot more people that don't want to see this, then do. They should know this, and if they do know it but still do it, it's like telling your boss FU, to his face. Not going to end well for you.

Posting and worrying are two different things. This is a college board. Would it make you feel better if I empathized with you?

little hyperbole in those words. Ultimately for Magee, he's just being a follower and hoping it helps him fit in and stay afloat in the NFL.
