Glad they didn't take it modern AOE 3 is about as modern as I would want an AOE game.

Next to Smash and Mariokart, definitely the game I remember most fondly from my youth. I loved playing Germ Blood. That was my favorite scenario.

aoe2 remastered on steam is still an awesome game. i'm just stuck between being too shite to play against real players online and too bored of playing with computers. i just pray it sticks to the aoe2 formula instead of the abortion that aoe3 was.

The goat? no, but I did sink a ton of hours into that game. I actually tried to go back and play again a year or two ago and the game is just run by hackers now if you find a game.

Why do people hate on AOE 3?
I understand it isn't the classic tha AOE 2 is, but nothing is.
AOE 3 was a fantastic game.
