I'm really getting annoyed with the pacing of GoT. Semi-Spoilers I guess.

Why in the hell are they packing so much into these episodes, it destroys the drama and just comes off as really lazy. If you're gonna pack 10 episodes into 7, at least do it well, if not, stick to 10 episodes. Each episode now feels like, "How much can we pack into this week's episode? Who can we start killing off so we can get them out of here?". Jon Snow getting the raven to Khaleesi and then her flying her dragons to the north in the span of a night (I'd assume?) really annoyed me this week, too.

You're damned if you do, damned if you don't I guess.

In previous seasons, viewers got pissed because they had "setup" episodes. Now there's not much setup at all and viewers get pissed. They can't seem to win, I guess.

I read somewhere (can't find the link now) is the number of episodes were being decreased as the main actors were being paid per episode, by lengthening each episode and havine fewer of them HBO could save some money. But who knows if there is any truth to that

It took them three extra months to make 7 episodes, and it will supposedly take them until 2019 to make 6 episodes. How long do you think it would have taken for two seasons of 10 episodes?

You do have a valid point about pacing, though.

But I agree the show is going a little too fast but D&D along with HBO only want 8 seasons. It's GRRM's fault the writing has suffered.

I just don't understand why, with so much material left, they cut the last two seasons short. I also can't decide if it's awesome are annoying this new non-stop action thing they have going on.

Well at some point shite has to go down. And it's rushed because shite is real now and everything has to be rushed. The show can't just float on aimlessly for 20 seasons.

Amazing they waste time on shite like maesters gabbing about Sam after he leaves the room and watching him clean bed pans for 5 mins but they have to rush getting dragons half way across the world. Hi uncle Benjin, woops you dead. Couldn't you just have stayed on the damn horse? Oh and no one tell Danny about killing the white walkers destroying tons of dead. Wtf. Ok and dude just hurls a freaking ice spear a half mile for the kill shot. Wtf
