How will removing them get the black community out of it's never ending cycle of poverty and despair?

How is this a reason to keep oppressive monuments?

Hey! How exactly is a rainbow made? How exactly does a sun set? How exactly does a posi-trac rear-end on a Plymouth work? It just does.

You are obviously black so answer the man and tell him why it makes you feel better.

It doesn't help them at all, this is just a massive and ongoing tantrum.

How are they oppressive? I get how some might find them distasteful, but no one is getting fricked over by their mere existence.

They were built by sore losers who wanted to remind black people that they were 2nd class citizens.

In this case, it's a statue meant to make people feel like they are less important than others.

I think the only real solution is a white guy travel ban.

Just until we figure out what the hell is going on.

Haven't you heard? In 2017, feelings are tangible and valuable and may be used as currency or evidence.

Unless this isn't known yet, leftists are never satisfied, and no amount of statue removal, reparations, guilt, apologies, etc. will ever be enough.

It's chilling to me that you believe this.
And it's one of the main reasons this entire scenario exists.
So much false information.

Maaaaaybe (just spitballing here), not publicly celebrating a cause that was fought with the direct stated intent of keeping black people from rising above their station in general would go a little ways toward promoting racial harmony this country desperately needs?

I'm no crusader for the removal of any/all confederate monuments, but don't play dumb and act like you don't know from where such sentiment originates.
