I will be cheering for him,
but I will also be sick is he lights it up...

I predict we hear about every TD he throws.

I think he wasn't put in a position to be successful here. Then his immaturity just gave him a bad taste for LSU overall. And once a kid gets that mentality, there's no going back. Transferring to UNC was his best option. Best of luck to him.

My gut feeling is that he is going to light it up.

At LSU he was an inaccurate QB with a big arm and didn't feel comfortable in games
I think he'll feel much more comfortable in that offense and do much better than at LSU, but will still be inconsistant

Best practice player we ever had ...

Harris in LSUs offense under Miles was like trying to force a square peg through a round hole. He was/is a spread QB not a pocket passer.

I wouldn't be shocked at all of he lights it up. Remember Jeff Driskil from Florida? He transferred and threw for more yards in his senior year than every year he started at Florida combined. And yes, he was playing against subpar talent, but he was also surrounded by subpar talent. The difference is he had an offensive system and a coaching staff that suited him. The problem with our quarterbacks here was Les Miles. Bottom line! Every QB that he recruited received much more criticism than they deserved.

talent level doesn't matter. If he suddenly lights it up and plays well consistently it just confirms that it was mostly coaching. Because what has been the biggest argument with him was poor decision making and not very smart.

it amazes me how many people still believe this myth

I don't think he even started playing fb until 8th or 9th grade, so a couple of years as a hs qb and he's thrown into a trial by fire as a qb in the SEC, he'll likely be looking a defenses that are considerably smaller and slower than what he's experienced as an LSU qb, including just at practice he should do ok

Just as long as I don't have to look at him in purple and gold, could care less. Will always see him hitting a wide open Wisconsin defender for the game. One of the worst throws I've ever seen.

Top of the ACC is better than the top of the SEC right now.

they are recruiting the same athletes as the SEC, ya dingus. same geographic footprint.
NFL teams seem to love drafting Miami, Clemson, FSU, etc. athletes as much as they do LSU's and Bama's but keep telling yourself that we're so different.
