Damn rest in peace. Chipper Jones said a few years ago that Baylor changed his career by helping him change his approach from the right side of the plate.

Yep, it's no coincidence that Chipper won the MVP during Baylor's only year as Braves hitting coach. Chipper hadn't been much of a power threat as RH hitter and Baylor got him to unleash.
He hit 30 HR as a LH and 15 HR as a RH in 99. The year before he hit 32 and 2, and in 2000 he hit 24 and 12.
