The Dodgers are killing it. It's crazy how the Rockies and Diamondbacks are playing great baseball and are 15 games out of 1st.

Yeah, the Pirates loved playing Atlanta in the post season.

The Diamondbacks are apt to go cold and look like complete shite for a series though. Look at how they played this weekend.

Have to admit that sounds like a fun series, Stros need to get healthy and this rumor of a Verlander trade...yes I'd like that matchup

Why the lulz? You really gonna lock arms with someone saying the Cubs could sweep what appears to be one of the best teams of the decade? I'm as down on the Stros as any fan, but odds of them making the WS are significantly higher than the Cubs, m8. And I would much rather face the lolCubs than the Dodgers.

Their lineup & rotation are absolutely stacked. Team OPS is 3rd in the MLB & they're 5th in runs scored, and they lead the MLB in every meaningful category in pitching, ERA, WHIP & BAA. Even looking at advanced team stats, WAR wOBA, wRC+ & xFIP, they are top 3 in every one.

All time regulars season numbers for sure

Postseason is a different animal and still two months away. Outside of Kershaw's injury,
too much has gone right for them up to this point. A few of, if not all of Bellinger, Turner, Chris Taylor, Seager has to regress somewhat. The rotation outside of Kershaw (if healthy) and Darvish still has question marks, especially in a playoff series. Wood, Hill, Maeda, Ryu.. meh, they need to prove it.

They won't be an easy out but if they lose in the DS I wouldn't be surprised. NL will be a dogfight

I dont expect a crazy regression either, as those guys are still very good players.

Was listening to the ringers podcast mlb show. Based on what they have said on this show Cubs have went all in to win the world series this year and the Stros have not.

I really hope the Cubs don't win it again

Darvish being their 3rd starter suggests winning 4 games off them in a 7 game series is going to be quite hard unless a couple get hurt

Really hope Astros get healthy again soon. Hot Astro bats could neutralize the Dodgers pitching staff.
