On Teuhema situation... Does this sound academic? Is so, what was said about O not keeping up to date or pushing a key player at a thin position on top of his grades is of concern

This is the point that is not understood by the crowd that thinks a great offensive coordinator plus a great defensive coordinator equals a great team. There are 500 other things like that going on in the background. Is O managing them well? Can he?

Saban does not lose Maea. He would have had a plan for Maea that was part of his overall process. These are the things that success as an interim head coach does not prove out. Hopefully it is an isolated instance.

bullshite statement right there. Saban loses plenty of players. At least our guys didn't trash his fricking locker before he left.

Lots of negativity on here. The idea that a player's parent should not be kept in the loop when you change their position to a different side of the ball is assinine, particularly when said 5 star just got here. If this player transferred because the dad wasn't happy you same nervous Nellies would be lambasting Coach O for not keeping the parent happy. Also is not Os job to personally take every player to class. They have an entire support department for that. You guys are ridiculous.

It's more than grades with Maea. He came to LSU as a package deal with his brother. Now that his brother is gone, he doesn't really know what he wants to do or how to go about it.

A year off will benefit him.

It's funny how every topic around here turns to how Saban would do something. Get over it.

No Saban never lost a key player while at LSU unless of course you count Damian James.

It's a good thing we have Orgeron now then huh. He's actually focusing on building our OL with quality depth and recruits.

If anything this is the previous regimes doing. How could it not be. We had the exact same issues with the DL 3 years ago but is now fixed because of Orgeron. Same issues with LB 2 years ago and is now fixed again thanks to Orgeron. I have no doubts that he will do the same for our OL. Miles sucked at keeping good depth here and this is the results.

Yeah, Nick didn't lose Damien James either. Oh wait, he did.

At some point players are responsible for their actions. O accepting a share of the blame as he should but it's also the position coach and the academic staff who monitor such things.
Every year we're thin in some places. One year it was the DL, then it was the linebackers and how could we forget quarterback. This year it's the OL, RB and WR.

Saban also doesn't boot players who have guns and weed in their car.

Injecting the object of your masturbatory fantasies into a simple practice report and discussion of LSU's OL is the weakest kind of pathetic.

Go rub one out on the bama board.
