Brennan needs to RS. Put another 15-20lbs on and just learn that playbook like the back of his hand. If he does this an obviously shows up ready at the 2018 spring camp. He could be a day one starter.

Op, do you really think starting a true freshman (who has been on campus for a day) in the SEC is better than an experienced Senior. Ettling has his downside but he has already shown he can win sec games.
Whats best for Brennan is red shirting, let him get used to the speed of the game, let him pickup muscle, and let him compete to lead the team next year.

Danny is the QB until someone can take it from him or he is injured and cannot play. People just need to deal with it. I have a gut feeling that Danny will do well if Canada's offense is like his previous jobs. I think this team is going to surprise a lot of people.

I will tell you one thing, LSU is the greatest team ever at recruiting back-up QBs. It appears that each year since 2007, our back-up QB has been Heisman worthy.
But what's strange is whenever they actually play, they immediately regress and the new 2nd string is the GOAT.
