Geographic Breakdown of Ouachita Parish

Tired of out-of-towners lumping everything In Ouachita as Monroe so I thought I'd make it easier for you:
Eastside of the parish is all Ouachita High and consists primarily of Lakeshore and Swartz areas. These folks are very insecure and hate Neville and especially West Monroe. Softball is their flagship sport. North of Monroe is Sterlington, booming white flight area that's experienced recent success at the HS level. Monroe proper is two separate entities. The Garden District / River Oaks old money props up Neville and keeps it above the quagmire called the Monroe City School System. When those alums die off I'm afraid Neville will go down the tubes. Very proud bunch. Southside Monroe is everything below US 80 / I-20 and consists of Carroll, Wossman and Richwood. Lot of athletes, crappy schools and HIGH crime. Avoid after dark. Crossing the river is West Monroe. Used to be cowboys and paper mill folk mostly. Folks passed a west side tax that improved all the schools and the white flight into West Monroe kicked into high gear. Don Shows came along and the self esteem of an entire community elevated. Antique Alley is the old downtown area on the river. West Ouachita is south and west in the parish and is a rural but nice school, limited athletically but respectable. Fed by Calhoun and Woodlawn areas.
And then there is Bawcomville. Used to be mostly paper mill families but now primarily low end rental properties, meth heads and the occasional pentecostal. It's nestled between West Monroe and Cheniere Lake, to the southwest. Another place to avoid after dark unless you are trying to score something illicit.
So next time you want to criticize Monroe, now you can be specific. We're used to it lol.

Who?

Traffic is manageable and most of the public schools are average to above average. Ouachita > EBR.

I spend about 0.0% of my time thinking about Monroe

This is awesome. Next can someone give us a breakdown on Vicksburg or some other POS city that no one cares about unless they live there?
