Was just about to post this.. I wonder if this writer is legit.

I hope this doesn't happen. Seriously.
I hope he goes to the Big 10 or whatever they call themselves now. I don't want him in the SECW.

Here we go. Last 6 weeks might get interesting in a hurry. I'm usually anti Miles talk, but this could get me through til September.

Not scared of Miles the Coach, but I am a little scared about Miles the Recruiter being so close to Louisiana.

Apparently OM didn't learn their lesson with hiring washed up SECW coaches.

Isn't that why we hired our DL coach as a HC? Because he is the greatest recruiter ever in the history of the world? That's what I was told.

I hope it happens. I wouldn't think he would be that stupid, but you never know. Actually, I'd call taking that job desperate. Probably just completing his obligation so he can continue to rape Lsu.

This
Although with sanctions, his recruiting would be much more difficult

whatever he doesn't get from ole miss we pay the difference, i believe. but it still lowers our obligation to him directly by millions.

He may be. If he is, then people def don't need to worry about Miles getting LSU targets to OM.

This would be like when we hired Van Chancellor for women's basketball to save face after the Pokey Chapman thing. Lovable goofy guy who is the complete opposite of the scandal that just happened.
And like Van Chancellor won 4 WNBA championships and then crashed and burned here because he was over the hill, I can see the same thing happening with Miles at Ole Miss.

Talk about a contrast in styles on the field between Freeze and Miles. OM fans will be pissed.

so there's no reason for ole miss to over pay, they can just use the savings for the recruits.

Toss dive is back boys but now for the Black Bears.

OM wants to bring someone in to steady the ship and get them through this turmoil.
They think that Miles probably has a decent rapport with the NCAA and this move might help lessen any sanctions a bit.
Miles guide the program through the sanctions and then retire in 5 or so years and at least keep the program afloat.
