All those that predicted a Jon/Dany meet up where getting WAY ahead of themselves.
How so? You think it's not gonna happen at all? Or just later?
Just curious.

I meant in Ep 2.
I don't think it'll happen until the season finale.

If the previews show them discussing Jon going to Dragonstone, it'll happen long before the finale. I'm thinking Episode 3, 4 at the latest.

I don't see Jon going south. Just don't. In the trailers it shows him going north, not south. That's a whole lot of traveling for not even one season.

I'm pretty confident we are going to see a lot of traveling in a relatively short amount of episodes.

I'm not saying he won't ever, just not anytime soon. Probably by the end of the season.

If that's Gendry, he's been rowing an extremely long time to literally not go anywhere.
Crackpot Gendry theory:
Not long after Gendry began rowing a storm capsized his wee little boat and washed back on the shore of Dragonstone. He hid in one of the caves on the island near the shore. He will either be discovered by Dany's men or come out of hiding and present himself once he realizes it's not Stannis and his men that came back to the island.

That was before Sam found out about a giant Dragonglass mine hidden beneath Dragonstone. He has to go south in order to get the weapons he needs to fight in the north.

I doubt he even knows who the father is yet.
He knows where the birth took place, who his father fought, who they were protecting, who she was with in the time before it all happened and that the kid is Jon Snow.
He knows.
Agree
It sounds like Melisandre will be the one Dany meets, she will likely give information to Dany about the White Walkers and Jon Snow.
The question of where Euron, Jamie, and Cersei intersect with Dany seems open. If we assume Euron is going to close up the Dorne Snake plot and present one as a gift to Cersei then we may not see as much King's Landing conflict in the immediate future. Dany and Jon may be forced to focus on the north, giving Cersei a temporary reprieve.

Stormborn” Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) receives an unexpected visitor
Could it be the Onion Knight (Davos Seaworth)? It makes sense that Jon would send Davos in his stead due to his familiarity with Dragonstone. Also, it make sense that he would send someone to accomplish the task of getting the dragon glass while he remains at Winterfell to continue managing things in the north.
**** Wouldn't surprise me if it was Melisandre due to her proclivity to all things fire.

The only problem I have with this is how do they know that Dany is on Dragonstone? Has she been sending out ravens? The North is pretty cut off from all the others.
No doubt she sends out ravens to every kingdom demanding loyalty.

So can we basically blame bran for everything that has ever happened? Did he cause the Doom of Valyria?

Crackpot Gendry theory:
Unless he is literally still at Dragonstone after what 2 yrs?!.....he probably went to the nearest port.....which would be King's Landing. I doubt anyone would still be looking for him anyway, and with his skills he could easily find work there.
Since they have been bringing up all the loose end storylines lately, I'm sure he will show up this season...I'm guessing his arc will be that he will learn to forge Valyrian steel.

But making Valyrian steel requires magic

His momma named him Howland, I'm gonna call him Howland.

Good catch... That's a highly likely scenario, IMO.
